Are you sure about that? With the Yannick trade, they might have to extend Yannick too so you think they can afford Cook and Yannick?VikingsVictorious wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2020 10:12 amHis extension would start with Next year.
When the contract kicks in the Money we're currently paying Reiff with is one way. There's a million ways to do it. Exaggeration.

We don't have to extend Ngakoue. We don't have to extend anybody.RandyMoss84 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2020 11:07 amAre you sure about that? With the Yannick trade, they have to extend Yannick tooVikingsVictorious wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2020 10:12 am

I have learned that some GMs are just magicians with the cap and know how to work it. How many times do teams sign a guy and you wonder how they can fit that salary in? And then you see Ngakoue come to Minnesota just when you figure they're probably out of the sweepstakes because they can't afford it.RandyMoss84 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2020 9:49 amWith what cap space?VikingsVictorious wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2020 9:21 am
Wish we could just agree on $10 million and sign him now. If he has a season like last years we're looking at $14 million a year moving forward.
I'm not going to begin to learn the nuances of how they do it, but dollar amounts for individual players and the amount of high-salary players on one team no longer surprises me anymore.

Apparently the Saints might be trading Kamara.
Anyone think of a 1-for-1 trade for Kamara in exchange for Cook could be an interesting proposition?

No. I'd rather keep ours and let them keep theirs.Rhodes Closed wrote: ↑Tue Sep 01, 2020 3:28 pm https://twitter.com/JosinaAnderson/stat ... 9049346053
