Re: Done, I have zero interest in following the 2017 Vikings

Missed Field goal at end of regulation is the only thing holding up the "they didn't win a playoff game" statement. They fixed that particular problem, albeit a bit too late. Forbath may have missed some Extra Points but his FG% was pretty good... Nope, still a problem. Need a pitcher of ...

Re: Rest of the season playoff thread.

Rodgers DOES only have slumps compared to himself, 2015 and 2016 are his slump years snd both were fantastic, the latter being a possible mvp season. I have no doubt going off such insanely small sample sizes you could find periods worse that Brady has went through, logic dictates such a thing with ...

Re: Rest of the season playoff thread.

No. He had a lower completion percentage, less passing yards, nearly identical td/int ratio, and a worse passer rating. Perhaps we're talking about different stretches. I was talking about from the article; https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Cs0DwWwW8AAaacb.jpg Rodgers is better in every statistical categ...

Re: Rest of the season playoff thread.

During that 8 game stretch he was matching Blaine Gabbert's stats so ... sure, by the end of the year he had done well enough to bring his numbers up, but during that window he was awful. Anyway, it's not all about stats in the Brady vs. Rodgers debate. At any rate, setting the stats aside, it's ha...

Re: Rest of the season playoff thread.

It's not just perceived that way by Vikings fans. http://www.totalpackers.com/2016/09/bad-aaron-rodgers-gotten/ Seems like a slump to me. YMMV. I never said it was, thats the point, Rodgers set his own bar far too high. Who cares about some pff nonsense? I prefer real stats, NFL statistics, and the...

Re: Done, I have zero interest in following the 2017 Vikings

Of course because we came off a playoff year to going 8-8 and everyone thinks the sky is falling. You think it's coaches, Spielman, ownership, yada yada yada. Yet many of these fans that have "deeper concerns", KNOW that this team would probably be better than 8-8 if it wasn't for injurie...

Re: Rest of the season playoff thread.

You prove an interesting point on Rodgers, anyone else has his last two years and its great, but because Rodgers set his own bar so incredibly high, he is perceived as 'Slumping'. Literally not one other player in history would get as much #### for the years he just had.

Re: Rest of the season playoff thread.

Isn't 2015 in the past? He had a string of bad games in 2015 and 2016. He missed significant time in 2013 so throw that season out. That's 3 out of the last 4 years. I'm not going to go and dredge up anything before then. I think Brady is more consistent, stats aren't everything and its my opinion....

You have always exaggerated Moss's weak points. His goal post wipe seems to have offended your very soul.
There is nothing to suggest that, your just using it as a lame insult.

There are a plethora of reasons to dislike Moss, him quitting on his own team being one of them.

Re: Rest of the season playoff thread.

Anyways, Erin's dbaggery shouldn't squelch your fondness for him. He's a heck of a player. Similarly, the fact that Moss did some idiotic things didn't hinder me from being a fan. Not similarly. Moss was on a much higher level of d bag, you call Aaron a #### because you perceive him as 'Smug' or 'A...

Re: Done, I have zero interest in following the 2017 Vikings

Ok, this may be true in yards per game. But in PPG the leader is still in the playoffs. The New England Patriots. They ranked 8th in yards per game and 1st in PPG. But, it's all Brady. He seems to have it in his head that a great QB and good O is mutually exclusive to a good D. I do agree that the ...
