@MySportsUpdate

The #Vikings release G Josh Kline, which is a bit of a surprise
Hmm... I don't get it.

Re: Diggs Traded

http://m.startribune.com/vikings-stefon-diggs-parted-because-of-irreconcilable-differences/568885742/ This clearly went much deeper than what media and disgruntled fans thought (cousins). Bottom line is, these frustrations started well before the season even hit. And it was not directly at cousins ...

I hope you're wrong, but it fits the pattern we have had with Zim as coach. Barring a very successful draft, you could be right.

Re: Waynes to Bengals

Hughes is a 1st rder, so he needs to take that step. Hill has starter potential and now can keep playing and smoking his weed. I think we wait and get at least 1 veteran CB probably 2. Get them on downside of career type contracts. Prove it deals. I see this roster getting younger with lots of draf...

I agree with you, we have to see what the extension looks like. It scares me a little, because he has not been healthy enough. He is very talented though.

Re: Diggs Traded

Love the Perriman idea. I watched all of the Tampa games from last year and he was great for them. I don't know if they can afford it though. He played on a 1-year, $4 million deal with Tampa last year and caught 36 balls, which was a career high. I don't think he'll cost all that much ... certainl...

Re: Vikings put franchise tag on Harris!!

Yes Greenway did say that and it could be true. It could also be complete BS. In the end Diggs is the only one who truly knows why he hated his QB so much he wanted out of MN. It's awfully presumptuous to assume he hated Cousins, unless you are seeing something that I'm not. I haven't read that any...

Re: Diggs Traded

We just lost an elite receiver because we are committed to a mediocre QB being paid like he is a top tier QB with a ring.....Diggs was the smart one to bail out of this mess. I don't think it had anything to do with Cousins. Diggs wants to be "the man", and he couldn't do that with Thiele...

Re: Vikings put franchise tag on Harris!!

Vikings placed the franchise tag on SS Anthony Harris. This comes as a surprise given Minnesota's cap issues. The Vikings cleared money by extending Kirk Cousins and releasing Xavier Rhodes and Linval Joseph last week, allowing them to fit Harris for now. It's possible Harris is shopped in a tag-an...

Re: 2020 Offseason News Thread (Signings, Coaching changes, etc.)

Ian Rapoport @RapSheet A surprise: the #Vikings have franchise tagged S Anthony Harris, either keeping him in Minnesota or allowing them to trade him. Maybe the top FA safety won’t be free. This is nice I think. I'm sure he would have liked a longer deal, but I'm glad we are potentially keeping him...

Re: Cousins signs 2 year extension (Details)

:| :| :| I like Cousins but continuing to pay him so much guaranteed money seems like a very questionable choice. I agree. I don't think he's a horrible QB, but damn that's a lot. I understand it, because it's better for THIS year, but it also means we are married to him longer, and more importantl...

Re: Moves the Vikings should make for 2020

And now ... as I speculated weeks ago and was nearly laughed off the board ... On his show today, Colin Cowherd has suggested that the #Vikings are looking to "move on" from wide receiver Stefon Diggs. This is all over Twitter. Word is that Diggs is unhappy and wants out. Obviously nothin...

Re: Moves the Vikings should make for 2020

I think that's $100 million for one year... Bridgewater gets a center on the field with him and two tackles and that's it because the Vikings can't afford to field any other offensive players. Despite this, he ends up throwing for 30 TDs (most to himself, but gets a few where the tackle(s) report e...
