Re: 2024 NFL Draft

We agree on a lot of things, but we sure don't agree on this. I don't know if I'd even pick Maye if he fell to 11. Using 3 FRPs to get him?????????? At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what any of us think they should or should not do. The only thing we as fans can do is trust the Organization...

Re: Off-season Prediction Thread

I agree. I have seen a lot of changes over the years, players come and go. Three stadiums, every Vikings player since 1961, and every Vikings playoff game since they started. I am one of those “Win One Before I Die” and have the whole collection of Before I Die empty cans. What you did see and not ...

Re: Off-season Prediction Thread

I have noticed that too. I think they’re ignoring my comments. I wouldn’t blame them. I would ignore me too. My thoughts on the offseason is that there are a lot of needs in multiple position groups. I’m guessing it will be another case of there not being enough draft picks and money for free agent...

Re: Off-season Prediction Thread

A) I don't think the Bears would trade Fields to us (divisional thing), unless we overpaid...which we won't. B) Someone desperate for a QB will give up at least 2 2nds for him. Can people even see my posts? Is this thing on? This site used to have a lot of great conversations. Now...I feel like a g...

Re: Who Starts?

Hall starting and some of our fan base are going to ruthlessly criticize his every move. I’ve seen rookies thrust into these situations and it killed their confidence. He does have a reputation for protecting the ball and he can move in the pocket. He’s got a strong arm, is mature and smart. I hope ...

Re: Vikings at Raiders

I would have preferred Harbaugh, but KOC has given us ZERO reason to Move on. KAM on the other hand I would pack his bags for him. KOC does have some negatives. Just listen to his pressers and how he answers questions and I get the sense he'd make a great politician if the head coaching gig doesn't...

Re: Vikings at Raiders

3-0 in a climate controlled stadium. Are you kidding me  I think that it's obvious that KOC does not know how to scheme for an athletic QB. It's outside of his comfort zone. Also, Dobbs is not that good. It’s a matter of perspective. I look at it as KOC despite giving Dobbs every opportun...

Re: Vikings at Raiders

I get the impression that KOC is a great offensive mind but sometimes his expectations exceed the offenses ability to execute his plans. If he has a good day and they’re hitting on all eight cylinders he looks like a genius. If his game plan gets too ambitious the offense looks bad. They say that th...

Re: What now? A golf analogy

At this point we have faced so much adversity that a recovery and legitimate playoff run are an unrealistic expectation. I see Dobbs not being able to take full advantage of JJ’s skill set. Not after seeing him throw a sure TD to Addison out of bounds. Mullen checks off the same mobility boxes as Co...

Re: Bears at Vikings MNF

The bottom line is that we lost our starting quarterback and we don’t have anyone left who can play at that level. It makes more sense to ride this out and not make any costly desperation signings. As someone who has watched the Vikings since 1961 I’m all for the “win a Super Bowl before I die” narr...

Re: Vikings at Broncos

Ty Chandler — 14 touches, 110 yards from scrimmage, 0 fumbles. Put. The. Man. In. I thought him and Mattison complemented each other well. I agree Mattison needs to be the second option. Demoted, basically. But I don't know that I want Chandler as a "every down" guy. I love how hard Matti...

Re: Who Starts?

The thing that helped Dobbs the most IMO was his 66 yards and one touchdown rushing. I'm not a huge fan of watching a QB run around trying to make something out of nothing but others are. That adds another level of taking hits. It also adds more wear and tear. He takes more of a chance of getting k...

Re: Who Starts?

Hall knows the playbook and was moving the chains when he got hurt. He was changing plays at the LOS and showed a lot of poise. I wish that we could have seen a whole game sample. Dobbs is smart and athletic and looked great with KOC in his ear. This could go south for Dobbs if he shows us the reaso...

Re: Saints at Vikings

Reading through your post my first thought was that you described a team that is a lot like the Vikings. That is indeed a hard one to call.

Re: Vikings at Falcons

Don't forget Wade Wilson basically playing lights out in 87 playoffs. He was Kramer's backup and didn't start the Saint game. That champ game really hurt. Still a classic game. Moss helped Cunningham. Just throw it as far as you can dog and I'll go get it. Completely forgot that Wilson came in duri...
