Re: Should we trade for a Quarterback
Just don’t give up any draft pick for a QB. I would like to see what Hall can do, and just sign some slappy veteran for a backup until Mullens is back. There isn’t a savior out there.

Re: Chargers at Vikings
This team is not going deep in the playoffs until they fix both sides of the line.

Re: RIP Legend Joe Kapp
I saw that this morning as well. Another Viking legend gone too soon. I think it was the 1969 NFL Championship game when he flattened the Cleveland linebacker on a run. And he would jump over tacklers. He was the toughest QB I have ever seen. I'm not sure he could be a starting QB in todays NFL. His...

Re: Cowboys @ Vikings post game
I chalk a lot of this one on a hangover from the Bills game, both on the players and the coaches. Uncharacteristic penalties, mistakes, a lack of intensity, and getting out coached by McCarthy (!). However with the injuries creeping in the lack of depth is showing. Really missed Tomlinson and Dantzl...

Re: Vikings @ Bills post game
“…arguably wildest final minute in NFL history” https://sports.yahoo.com/amphtml/vikings-stun-josh-allen-bills-in-overtime-after-arguably-wildest-final-minute-in-nfl-history-215358337.html I argue it was more than that. Wild drama from late 3rd quarter on. Some will say the Vikings still had luck wi...

Re: Lions @ Vikings post game
Anyone else notice Bullard in a good way yesterday? Seemed like he was getting pressure in the middle more than I expected. OTOH, the Lions' RBs gashed us pretty well, as I expected they would. Overall, our DL got less pressure than I would have hoped. Our D absolutely sucked on 3rd and especially ...

Re: Lions @ Vikings post game
We have to remember we have a new HC with all that entails, who hasn’t called plays (at least in a while), almost entirely new coaching staff, and new schemes on offense and defense. It’s going to take some time for the team to click on all cylinders. I am more concerned about the defense though. Ho...

Re: Vikings vs. Packers Postgame
Another thing I was impressed with was the lack of penalties, especially against the offense. I don’t think there was an illegal procedure/false start or holding? If there was maybe one of each. Not like last year where there was a slew of false starts in the beginning of the first game.

Re: Draft Day thread
My overall takeaway from this draft is that the new regime realized that this team was sorely lacking in overall young talent and depth. Thus the attempt anyway to get multiple picks in the early rounds. The trades that have me baffled though are the ones with the raiders. I am confused as to what ...

Re: Draft Day thread
Asamoah I really like. I think he's better than at OU. Our coaching staff did him, and the entire defensive side of the ball, no favors imo. He, Bonnito, and Winfrey are all NFL players. I am surprised though that he went before Dean. Does everyone just think it was that amazing Dline that did ever...
