Yep. And we can hope he's healthier but there's no guarantee he will be.

Re: Do We Have A Good Chance Against Patriots At Home?

Seriously? AP should tear the New England run defense apart.

I'd love to see it. But I'll have to see it to believe it. What don't you like about my reasoning? I'll add to that my impression that AP does not seem the threat he was just 2 years ago. Which doesn't mean he's washed up by any means ...

Re: Teddy Bridgewater

You obviously don't need me to say anything, since you can put all those words in my mouth that i didn't say. I merely asked a question, because I don't watch other team's preseason games.

So, by your logic (And some other folks' I've seen on here) since Cassel threw the bomb to Cordarrelle, in ...

Re: Do We Have A Good Chance Against Patriots At Home?

I see AP NOT having an especially good day. What do the Pats have to plan against? The numerous films of the Turner-run offense? No such thing. All they have is reams and reams on AP, so that's the only thing they can game plan for. They will try to shut down AP and force their castoff Matt Cassel ...

Re: Favorite PA blunders

Did anyone catch the PA interview with Cordarelle Patterson this week? I wish I could say it was one of my favorite blunders but it was so embarrassingly bad I had to shut it off. :( He was practically gushing all over him and asked the dumbest questions. I know football players aren't the sharpest ...

Re: Do We Have A Good Chance Against Patriots At Home?

I'm sure many Vikings fans here remember Dungy's time in Minnesota, and his departure, well. I know I do.

I gathered that you remember him because you brought up his name.

But I'm sure most people under 35 or 40 will not remember Tony Dungy as a Minnesota Viking Coach. And most ...

Re: Do We Have A Good Chance Against Patriots At Home?

The key word here is remember. How many people actually remember when Tony Dungy was Minnesota's DC? (rhetorical question) I don't, because I wasn't even in Minnesota when he left 20 years ago.

Re: This Week's Enemy Fan Forums: The New England Patriots

First I just want to give a thumbs up  to frosted for these "Enemy Fan Forum" threads. It was a great idea. And nice work digging up all the links and what not. It's always interesting to see what the other fans are saying.

Secondly, for being a fan base of a dynasty, a lot of those guys ...

Re: Do We Have A Good Chance Against Patriots At Home?

Didn't Cassel start out with New England?.. I am sure Belechik knows how to get into his head. That's why Norv has a real challenge this week. To keep it simple for the QB and still confuse the defense.

Cassel's head left New England a long time ago. However I don't think Cassel's head needs a ...

Re: Teddy Bridgewater

Because those examples actually fit your argument...somewhat.

Did the Colts have a reliable veteran to start instead? Regardless, Luck is so rare. He was good to go. Teddy is no Andrew Luck. Why people compare Vikings qbs to elite or soon-to-be elite qbs all the time is beyond me.

It's easy ...

Re: Teddy Bridgewater

I like the way you think, sir. :cheer:

But how can you be so certain TB handles pressure well, when he has never taken a regular season snap against the a #1 NFL D? As Anthony Barr said today, the NFL is way faster than college. And that's coming from a big fast freak. I just think "better safe ...
