Re: Vegas puts Vikings Over Under Win Total at 6.5. Whatcha
I'm assuming a lot of bets have been placed considering the line and how sure people are?..... I live in Detroit and am regularly at the casino, and normally have no trouble finding no-juice action against the other poker players. The problem with this bet is that it's so long term, and gamblers wa...

Re: Vegas puts Vikings Over Under Win Total at 6.5. Whatcha
Where are you guys finding the over/under future bets? I looked at Vegasinsider and only found odds for winning the division, conference, and Super Bowl. When I did various google searches, the number I found was 6.5, but that was from February. That being said, I think this is a great bet at 6.5, n...

Re: Adrian Peterson Reinstated
I heard somewhere along the line that Dogra doesn't get paid anymore money unless AP gets a new deal, is that true?

Re: offensive neglect
The offense will be upgraded even without help in the draft. I'm not that high on Wallace, but he's an upgrade over Jennings. We get Peterson back. We get Fusco back. We get Loadholt back. Teddy has another year under his belt. The offense isn't going to be lights out or anything this year, but shou...

Does the Cummings pick take us out of the running for La'el Collins?

Re: 2015 NFL Draft thread
I love this Kendricks guy. He went the UCLA so there is a better than average chance he's a pretty smart dude, and smarts are so important for a guy that might play a lot of snaps at MLB.

Re: 2015 NFL Draft thread
According to NFL network, Gregory was 90 minutes late for one team's interview, and missed another completely.

Re: 2015 NFL Draft thread
There was a lot of talk on NFL network about Jalen Strong. Well, we passed on WRs in both rounds. I think that says as much about what the coaches think of our WR corps as it does about our defense. Obviously we needed a LB, but it's equally telling that we apparently didn't need a WR. The progressi...

Re: 2015 NFL Draft thread
I'm torn on whether I think the Bills or Panthers have acquired more talent in this draft. It's close.

Apparently we didn't trade, and made our scheduled pick.

Re: 2015 NFL Draft thread
So many people on various boards want their team to take Gregory. I think the fans way underrate the value of round 2 picks. Round 2, especially early round 2, is serious business, and if there is a strong chance that a guy is complete bust, teams should pass. I hated the Green-Beckham pick for the ...

Re: 2015 NFL Draft thread
What a boring first round. Not much in the way of trades or drama. Not much intrigue surrounding the Vikings pick, at least compared to previous years.

The picks get turned in before they are announced. The next team in line gets the pick and is on the clock well before the commish announces the pick.

Re: 2015 NFL Draft thread
One silver lining is that CB is a position that takes time to develop, but becomes super valuable if you get the right guy. We aren't competing for the Super Bowl next year, so I won't mind if he takes some time to develop, since the upside of getting a shutdown corner after a few years is probably ...
