I like the new format much better than the old. The old way was totally unfair to the loser of the coin toss. Besides the Vikings could have won that game if they wanted it, but they chose to try to run out the clock and play for a tie.

It won't be long before any kind of defense will be a 15 yard penalty and second and third offenses will be subject to fines and suspensions.

I don't know if Ponder overachieved, different game-plan, different QB, 1st game with a game-plan like that. It's almost like someone said "this is what you need to do to get the best out of Ponder".

After watching this replay a few times, it seems that two personal fouls could have easily been called on the Dallas defense. The third replay is the most informative.
