Re: Danielle Hunter won’t attend Vikings voluntary offseason program
Hunter and our first to move up for someone like Van Ness, thoughts? Maybe get a 3-4 in return.

Re: 1st round pick poll
This is a tough poll because there is only one choice. I chose Van Ness mostly because I think he has the best overall potential to be the most consistent player out of the listed players, but there are many others on the list I would be happy with. I can divide the players into two groups, with th...

Re: Lamar Jackson
As Char mentioned with Kirk at least getting the ball off to Hockenson allowed for the chance that he may break a tackle and get a first down. Taking a sack leaves no chance, so if in that play Cousins only chance was to get the ball off to Hockenson he made the right choice. But that wasn't his on...

Re: Lamar Jackson
The QB isn't choosing to take a sack in that spot which is what Cousins is being ripped for, choosing to throw a pass with no real shot at picking up a first. It is much better for a QB to try to extend a play and possibly get sacked or just throwing up a pass to a triple covered JJ that is interce...

Re: Lamar Jackson
Once Cousins threw that 4th down check down pass to end the playoff game KOC and the rest of the NFL have no use for him. Interesting stat about that. Since 1994 (as far back as this has been tracked) no QB has ever completed a pass for 5 yards or more less than the line to gain in the fourth quart...

Re: Lamar Jackson
Yeah that's a talking point I think is overlooked. If you are gonna a send two first for Jackson (and the contract), you can spend those same first to move up and draft a prospect if you can find a trade partner. And be on a rookie contract. Well first the rookie you have to pick has to be good. On...

Re: Kirk Cousins wanted three years, Vikings turned him down
I used NFL.com since they're the organization that has the final say, what there records say is what is written in the books. I dunno why you'd use anything other than the actual entity that runs the league. NFL.com has KC giving up 43 passing tds and 23 fields goals https://www.nfl.com/teams/kansa...

Re: Kirk Cousins wanted three years, Vikings turned him down
Wouldn't a better stat for this be scoring percentage? So the percentage of drives that the defense gives up a score? By that metric the Chiefs are 15th and the Vikings are 28th so it's a pretty big discrepancy there. For KC 35.9% of defended drives ended with a score for the Vikings 41.1% ended wi...

Re: Kirk Cousins wanted three years, Vikings turned him down
Your math is a bit off. Vikings defence gave up 1000 more total yards, one more touchdown and 15 more fields goals compared to the KC defence. A little bit more than one field goal difference. Nope, my math was fine. KC's D was asked to defend 12 fewer drives than MN's which is an entire game's wor...

Re: Kirk Cousins wanted three years, Vikings turned him down
The Vikings defensive PPD given up:2.13 KC's: 2.11 Over a season that amounts to one extra FG given up, yet KC won the SB while the Vikings lost to the Giants in the WC round. That was after losing the 2nd best WR in football via trade. I know Mahomes had little to do with that though, and KC would...

Re: Lamar Jackson
So far in his career Lamar hasn't thrown for more than 3,127 in a season. That's pitiful. Now how much of that is scheme and how much is lack of weapons? Could KOC project how much he would gain in his system and whether his skills would translate successfully? How much would he be allowed to use h...

Re: Lamar Jackson
Kc doing fine pay Mahomes more. Can’t believe this argument still exist. Yes you can still build a Super Bowl team around a qb making 50 million a year. Do I personally want Jackson? Not with a fully guaranteed contract that’s for sure. Does a player like Jackson fit our team and produce a better o...

Re: Lamar Jackson
Would I want him? No way. First he wants a Deshaun Watson contract. There goes signing some of the stars we have in the making. Yes we could sign JJ and Darrisaw but the rest of the team will suck. You can't win with a half baked team. Lamar is 26 and a super star. Why don't the team that drafted h...

Re: Eric Kendricks released
Best of luck Eric, you were a great player on and off the field, you lead with your play rather than your talk and we’re always a great team mate. I’m going to miss trying to guess how many times you’ll loose your helmet a game, thanks for the memories.
