Re: Draft thread

If Eason is gone, Vikings are getting Fromm maybe Disgusting, well, an upgrade over Mannion anyways lol. He could be a serviceable backup. Crazy that Fromm was considered a first round prospect a year ago. Sure can’t fix inaccuracy. I don't think that was ever serious. He's never had the arm streng...

Re: Draft thread

I'm over the Trent idea. Stack up this Oline now with some of those 13 picks and go full on depth. Let them compete and see what we have. I don't think they keep all 13, but the more prospects at this point, the better. Some will hit. That's not counting the picks these last 2 nights. 3 of 4, if not...

Re: Draft thread

However it seems to have worked out very well. I don't really thing we got good value out of our first round picks. Rick needs to have an excellent draft and I don't think it's a great start. I don't think either will be spectacular, but both should help day 1, especially Jefferson. The key is what...

Re: Draft thread

Vikings drafted 2 needs and added 2 more picks. Looks like a successful first day to me.

Re: Draft thread

Good with it. Had him pegged as their WR for a while now.

Re: WRs in Draft

From what I've read, I think the most likely WRs the Vikings draft in round 1 would be Justin Jefferson or Laviska Shenault for the reasons Daniel Jeremiah mentions in his analysis of the two, specifically with these sentences... Justin Jefferson: He lines up in the slot and out wide. He is an outs...

The following is a fringy, unconfirmed rumor, so take it FWIW. I'm told by a new source with a convincing connection to the #Browns that a trade for Trent Williams is "done," with #Redskins expected to receive a 3rd or 4th in 2020 and a 2nd in 2021.

Re: Tarvaris Jackson passes away at 36

He had a quite good season for us the year before we brought Favre in which was part of why I was so against bringing Favre in. Liked him on my Vikings. He was fun to watch. This is very sad. At the time I felt Childress did Tarvaris and Sage dirty given the cruddy season Favre had just had with th...

Re: Round 2 targets

Jake Browning does not have NFL potential. His stats his sophomore season were a direct benefactor of the talent around him. 32 of those TDs were to NFL players in John Ross and Dante Pettis. It's no coincidence why his numbers tanked. He never had arm strength or velocity in the first place. I liv...

Re: 2020 Offseason News Thread (Signings, Coaching changes, etc.)

Considering the addition of Pierce on top of Everson possibly coming back as well as an Epenesa or Gross-Matos in the 1st, you're suddenly looking at not just a good defensive line, but a Championship Dline similar to Philly's from their SB season. So many rotations available there with all that dep...

Re: WRs in Draft

I haven't heard too many mention Michael Pittnan Jr. yet, so sorry if I missed it, but I think he absolutely should be on Minnesota radar for an early round. 2nd or 3rd. He was a beast at USC. They were loaded at WR, so his numbers probably would be better anywhere else, as USC had a top 3 receiver ...
