If Spielman's eye for drafting young talent continues like he started last year then I'm fully confident they will find a starting caliber receiver and probably a playmaking WR in this years draft. There are plenty of guys at that position this year, which seem to be said daily, but I can name names...

He's very talented for sure, but not built like Percy and expecting him to be at Percy's level isn't fair. I can see Austin as a perfect complementary player for a team with a legit #1 WR.

I would put him as not quite as good as Percy, but better than Wright. Closer to Percy's side.

i agree as well and I think he has the potential to be even better. but to say he is a top wr is ridiculous. and honestly even though ponder is not wilson, he probably would have reached his potential here before seattle, since he was considered our ONLY wr worth throwing to. Overreaction Tuesday. He was my favorite too, but last year was probably the best year he had left and with what they were going to pay him this upcoming year then it's probably the best they release him. He may do well elsewhere, but his career is almost done.
