Man these announcers are terrible....
1st) That comment about Murray's cut looking like Bell was a joke, that was a stumble step that worked out. lol
2nd) Kevin Burkhart did not recognize the freaking Dirty Bird...he thought it was a train and went "choo choo"

Re: Would ya want to sign Peyton Manning as a FA next year?
i'd sign him in an instant and pay him 20 million. we have wasted peterson's prime years he deserves one last shot to play with a real quarterback. kaepernick is no better purple haze, bad mechanics and poor downfield vision. the only difference is he is built more stout, but as a passer he sucks j...

Re: Seahawks @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 13
Someone need to tell Exum Jr they're playing tackle, not touch. I think I've seen him run right past the ball carrier out of control just sticking his arm out to graze the player 3 times this half...

Re: 3.88 Vikings select DE- Danielle Hunter LSU
Everson Griffen was a 4th rounder that need a few years and now look at him. Hunter's motor and work ethic sounds very similar to Everson. This was my line of thinking on this pick as well, this is a long term pick for the franchise trying to keep the home grown DE pipeline stocked. Everything for ...

This was an encouraging statistical breakdown of where Teddy stands in relation to 51 other rookie QBs.

Re: Harvin traded to Jets
Wow, that's pretty surprising after giving up so many picks to get him plus giving him the huge contract he wanted...they must have really wanted him out of the locker room to ship him out for such little in return. I'm not cap expert, but maybe they decided the cap room his contract was eatting up ...

Re: Lions @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 6
From the very first snap. For sure! They sent us the JV production crew that's for certain. I missed the opening of the game so I can't be sure, but I think one of the announcers is Mike Goldberg. I'm used to hearing his terrible commentary when watching UFC but never thought I'd have to suffer thr...

Re: AP arrested for WEED now??? Is this real?
The more I think about this, the more I wonder about his mental health. Something is not right... I don't understand it. It's like the part of his brain that does the logical thinking is completely not working. Why would he do something like this now? Maybe it is some sort of disease or something t...

So i can safely assume that had it been Teddy being put on his back in the same manner, you'd all be rallying against this call with the same fervor?soflavike wrote:

Re: Vikings at Saints Game Thread - Week Three
+1. If you want to go strict by the rules, why wasn't Brees flagged? You can't have it both ways. If you want to be mr rulebook here, call a penalty on Brees too. Have you been watching football the past few seasons? Understand I don't like the call, but i'm not clueless to how the game is called n...

Agreed, when you flip a QB over onto their neck/head it's going to get a call everytime. And just because I understand why the call was made doesn't mean I like it or agree that it's how games should be called.Purple Reign wrote: Nope - just being more objective than most Vikings fans.

Agreed, 100%soflavike wrote: Kalil has to learn how to block before we can even try to throw downfield.
I'll accept the conservative playcalling so long as it keeps Khalil's poor performance masked and Teddy upright.
