When it comes to a DVD vs. Blu Ray I can't seem to tell a significant difference.

People already have DVD collections and I can't see most people replacing them for a technology that doesn't change enough to matter, as hard as they try ...

I'm avoiding buying any of it until it's really clear. One is going to be the Beta of this generation. The guy quoted doesn't know his history all that well, Sony has lost quite a few of these battles before.

i have an HD-DVD player and a PS3 and its too bad because i thought the HD-DVD seemed better because of cheaper disks (eventually) and players.

the scratch proof coating on the bottom of Blu-Rays are nice though.

both have their pluses and minuses but the one good thing about a mac is that since the same company makes both the hardware and software, theres better integration between the two than on a pc.

my main problems with mac are the price and software. if you compare, macs are generally 1.5-2x as much ...

be careful with forza 2.. i had a launch 360 and after i had played forza for a while the colors went funny.. after a little while longer, the video output was completely messed up with a black screen and white dots flying by..
