Dilemma at #8: QB or Mack?

Been looking at a lot of mock drafts lately and it seems like every one has us taking either Khalil Mack or one of the top 3 QBs. But what if BOTH are available when we pick at #8? Do you take the best LB in the draft who I've seen go as high as #2 overall, or do take whatever QB is there?

Re: Jimmy Clausen

I remember reading something about him having a really bad attitude. Not the type of guy who can inspire others to follow his leadership.

What a funny report. Ya think maybe it's a little early to be making predictions like that?

Nah, it's more likely that Seattle is trying to low-ball him.

Re: Allen to Seattle

Of course he is. Anyone NOT see this coming? Even last offseason when we knew 2013 was the last year in his contract, I knew he would end up in Seattle. So now we can keep hearing from bandwagon Seahawks fans talk about the Vikings as Seattle's "farm system". Apparently some of them still ...

So I looked at his bio and guess what? He was born in Texas and went to college in Texas. He's most likely been a Cowboys fan his whole life, so we might not have had a real shot at getting him.

and Rhodes. Robinson started over Rhodes :puke: and Peterson...and Harvin.... That's just how the Childress/Frazier era operated. Very slow to put rookies on the field, regardless of how much potential they have or how early they were drafted. Hopefully those days are behind us. But yes, as Demi re...

Re: Keep an eye on the `Zim' guys in Cincinnati

So much for that Cincinnati-to-Minnesota pipeline. Kinda bummed we didn't get Rey...he decided to stay in Cincy and come off the bench as opposed to here were he would have a much better shot at being a starter. Oh well, I guess if Zimmer really wanted him we would've tried harder.

Bengals re-signed LB Vincent Rey to a two-year extension.

Dang, I was hoping we would go after him. Was there ever any word of interest from the Vikings?

So much for that Bengals-to-Vikings pipeline, eh?

I don't get the Sproles lust. He's a scat back on the wrong side of 30. Ya he's talented and would add another dimension to the offense but it's not incredibly difficult to find guys with his skill set. I would rather have the 5th round pick.

SD's defense as a whole was terrible last year, so that's part of it. He played well in Jacksonville and he's still young, so with better coaching you gotta think he'll return to previous form.

Re: Vikings Sign CB Captain Munnerlyn

Munnerlyn is a guy I hoped we would get as soon as I knew he would be available this offseason. We all miss Winfield and it seems like this guy might have the skills to fit into that same kind of role. He's not some big name superstar but he's definitely well known around the league, and not just be...
