First, the Jags have a new owner. Part of the deal was that he said he would not re-locate the team. The teams lease with the stadium goes until 2027. They have a chance here to help build the stadium and get some more money for the state in the future for future projects. I am just waiting to hear the reasons they will oppose it.

So, let me get this straight. The Basilica is surrounded to the west by a 6 lane highway, and to the north by a 6 lane highway and the Stadium would be to the north of that highway. Just how in the world would that interfere with the Basilica? Sorry, I just don't get it.

I knew somehow they would shoot down the Arden Hills site. It makes to much sense to build a stadium in the open area that needs to be developed.
