Well, we’re going to find out pretty fast how good our 2023 Vikings are. The four toughest opponents come in a 6-week stretch beginning Week 2.

The Eagles did lose their DC and hired a Fangio guy just like we did with Donatell. Last year the Eagles had 70 sacks which would be a nightmare for us. The new guy is Sean Desai and this was posted about his system.
Desai, a former secondary coach, uses a bit more creativity, but it's still based in the Fangio system of zone coverage with deep safeties to limit explosive plays.Mar 1, 2023.
Sounds like the bend and give scheme. Everybody deep and no pressure. If they do play that BS the Eagle fans would let them know it. Could be a big benefit for us.
The Chiefs have a monster in the middle of their defense Chris Jones. I never knew how good this guy is. I can't remember the last time we played the Chiefs. Be tough for Ingram to get a good nights sleep worrying about his setup against this guy.
In the end who knows with the schedule. If Love is another HOF QB we are in big trouble. If the Lions are as great as the press are indicating again big trouble. The Panthers could be tough with the top QB. He could tear it up or be another Mayfield. If a team has a draft like the Chiefs had last year they could be monsters. 49ers have nothing at QB right now. Did they pick another? IMO the NFC is wide open. Did we get the right players and scheme changes to give us a big boost? I have no idea.

Was wanting to go to the game vs the Raiders as it's only about 6 hours from where I live. The prices are already ridiculous. I guess It's not until December though, so maybe those prices will change based on the records of LV/Min at that time.

I went vs Denver when Teddy fumbled right at the end, may try to go to Denver again. Denver has a special stadium agreement where they sell 2000 half price home tickets on a date in August. I'll try my luck at that again.

Oh boy. That's some tough sledding there. I'd like to be optimistic - I think our offensive starters, considered as a group, are in the "pretty good" category but wow one or two injuries and that schedule could be a nightmare. All bets are off on the defense, too many variables for a reliable prediction.
