Bears Vikings right before christmas
no one expects the Spanish Inquisition!
Re: Bears Vikings right before christmas
I'm trying SO HARD to collect funds to do that. Just had a baby and it won't be easy, but I'm pretty committed to making it for that game.

I'm going! My (soon to be) mother-in-law got me tickets. I got pretty much the cheapest tickets I could get (section 222 row 34) but at least I'll be there and be near the 50 yard line.
You going, jackal? For that matter, is anybody else going?

I'm totally hijacking this thread.
This is my second time going to Minnesota and I only have one night. I'm gonna hit up the mall for a while and buy some stuff (I think my fellow out of state fans will understand when I say that being in a place where the Vikings stuff is all around is almost magical, or depending on your personality at LEAST better than the Internet).
I'll be by myself and I can't drink, but I need a suggestion on where to eat. Maybe tailgating, too?

I have $250 for one day. I plan on spending most of that at the mall, but I'm open to anything.S197 wrote: What's the price range and type of food you like?
The only foods I don't like are pickles, tomatoes, and some white creamy sauces (Alfredo: good. Mayo/ranch: bad)

Butcher and the Boar was recommended to me by a number of people and I thought the food was good. Good location and you can make reservations via OpenTable.DK Sweets wrote:I have $250 for one day. I plan on spending most of that at the mall, but I'm open to anything.

They have a long bar where you can eat too if you don't want a table.
