Niners vs Packers
Refs already letting the pukers get away with holding in the end zone it is blatant. But they don't dare call that vs the pack at home in the playoffs

Was thinking the same thing.
The slow mo replays of Rodgers getting battered are cheering me up, though.

My lord, it feels GOOD to see the Packers to lose. Even when I have the cold of all colds, and I think its -100 up here.

It may be cold outside but a Packers loss in the playoffs in Green Bay just warms the heart.

Re: Niners vs Packers
Wow is there a more biased announcer/network combo for the Packers than Buck/Fox? It was like watching a sports movie centered around a particular team, and the Niners were playing the role of the generic team the protaganists were playing. Every play was either how the Packers were doing good or how the Packers were doing bad. Rarely were the Niners credited for anything except when Aikman was talking. He seemed to be the only one who at least tried to sound neutral. Even the half time clowns were all about the Packers. I don't remember seeing 1 highlight of Kaeps long run or Gores nice TD run during the first half highlights, but I saw Rodgers TD pass more times than I cared to.
So glad they lost, and in heartbreaking fashion no less. I was starting to dread the real possibility that we could have ended up with a Saints/Packers NFC championship game. I swear a Packers loss feels nearly as good as a Vikings win.

To be fair, the refs were at least consistent, and the niners got theirs in later in the game. They let them play today. It was refreshing to see.PotGoblin wrote:Refs already letting the pukers get away with holding in the end zone it is blatant. But they don't dare call that vs the pack at home in the playoffs

Re: Niners vs Packers
The worst mugging I've ever seen was the 4th&2 play where Rodgers escaped to find Cobb. HOLY COW!!
Pull yr 84 jerseys out.
Re: Niners vs Packers
I saw that too. I'm glad the Whiners won, but man, it seemed like the refs were doing their best to make GB the "Cinderella" team on that play.NextQuestion wrote:The worst mugging I've ever seen was the 4th&2 play where Rodgers escaped to find Cobb. HOLY COW!!
