Thank you George Paton

Post by RandyMoss84 »

Broncos hired George Paton to be their general manager who was Vice President and assistant general manager with Vikings for 14 years, thank you George for your contributions with the Vikings for 14 years and I wish George the best

Going to a team with a solid core already. Lots of potential in
Lock, Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, Fant, Hamler, Miller, Chubb, Bouye and Risner. He will have to sure up the OL and DL and address the DBs. The issue is that division is really tough. He could be perfect and still end up 3rd or 4th.

His first big decision is QB. Lots of discussion around here about if Lock should be the QB next year or if the Broncos should make an effort to trade up and grab someone. (I say give Lock one more year) As you say - tough division. They will be facing Herbert and Mahomes twice a year for years, and Carr isn't bad either.

I am surprised Broncos gave George a 6 year contract, they must have alot of faith in him

A 2nd year QB with 16 picks and 15 ints is a bad sign. They were the 28th best scoring offense behind the Washington Football Team that already moved on from their 2nd year QB.

Maybe Paton can take Kirk with him. Denver needs a QB.
We have Mannion waiting in the wings.
