Re: Vikings cut Kline
Now I’m baffled with this one? Now we have no guards. And am I reading this right and it only saved us $1 million and cost $4 million in dead money? He was our 2nd best lineman behind O’Neill. If we wanna save a mill or two then cut Elflein not Klein

Re: Vikings cut Kline
Only way I see this working out even remotely fine is if we're trading Harris for Trent Williams. Even then that's still somewhat questionable.

Re: Vikings cut Kline
I do not get this move at all, I guess Vikings will be drafting a guard to replace him

This team is a joke. Every year they make worse decisions and this team will never win a chip with the FO we have. We cut Kline who appeared to be an above-average guard for us and Pat E still has a job? A joke. We saved 1 million. Can't wait to hear how the Speilman asskissers work this into a positive.

Agree. Don't know how this move makes sense on any level.YikesVikes wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 4:34 pm This team is a joke. Re: Vikings cut Kline
Only thing I can see is they are doing it to bring in a big FA guard but then, you could have kept Kline and fixed both positions. Cut anyone else. Your starting guard is making 5 million. Thats a damn steal. WTH. I will like to remind everyone that Kyle Rudolph is the 4th highest paid TE in football. Kyle Rudolph.Maelstrom88 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 4:39 pmAgree. Re: Vikings cut Kline
He's not coming back. 5 million isnt a lot of money for a starting-caliber guard. Its a steal. Us asking him to take a deal is ridiculousRhodes Closed wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 4:41 pm https://twitter.com/GoesslingStrib/stat ... 9432117249
Re: Vikings cut Kline
We don't have much cap space, who are we going to bring in at guard?
Not the first time Slick Rick has had me scratching my head.
I would think Kline will do better money wise in FA.

Re: Vikings cut Kline
I just don't understand how Pat was kept over Kline. Pat saves more money. Pat has played worse than Kline. What justification could there be?
