I wish the Vikings had sent a reporter down there, and they asked doesn't it suck to get screwed by the refs?

I’m so glad that in the last 2 years, the saints have gotten knocked out of the playoffs once by a miracle and again by a blown call. And once was by us. Can’t stand them. Must suck to have the refs miss a call....boo hoo

Mad? Not a chance!

As I told my wife, with the Vikings not in the picture, the ending of that game was about as satisfying as it's gonna get for me this playoff season. It was like a great movie, with the ending coming out EXACTLY as I would hope. Oughta win a couple of Oscars. Best Picture goes to the game. Best Supporting Actor goes to Sean Payton for the greatest grown-man-crying-like-a-freaking-baby scene since John Coffey in The Green Mile. :appl:
I salute you Kapp!! One of my best friends is a huge Rams fan. We were texting during game. Believe me he knows my feelings on the Saints and Sean Peyton. My last text was , and I will remove a few words, The only way this could be better is if it were the Vikings winning this way. I told him that I loved seeing Peyton's big fat face screaming , with his head ready to explode. And ended it with there ya go Sean, hows it feel to be *bleeped* in the Championship game you * bleep*.
Just wish that dirty pc of crap Greg Williams was still on the staff to feel the pain also, after what he pulled against us.
My wife told me a few mins ago I looked like a giddy little 8th grader when the game winning kick went through. And she said I was acting like a dumb H.S. kid when I said a few choice words when they replayed poor Sean crying and screaming.
She just doesnt understand the gratification involved. Lol. It just felt good.
Lest we forget, or in case the youngest of our fans aren't aware.

Andy Reid is getting out coached by Bilichek in the playoffs, as expected.

It's fun to have someone to cheer against, like Sean Payton. I dislike Bilichek, but not so much that I get my blood hot cheering against them, like I do the saints.

My feelings exactly. Peyton is going on about getting the call by LG office about the missed call. Boo hoo buddy. It doesn't feel so good does it. I feel no sympathy for him whatsoever.

They replayed the 09 game the other day on NFL Network. My buddy, a Bears fan, watched it. He actually admitted that he finally saw the reason for my intense hate for the Saints and Peyton. All these yrs he thought I was just bitter. Now he saw how bad it really was. I feel vindicated to him now. Lol

Oh. My. God.

The league has already "admitted" to Sean Payton that the officials blew it against the Rams. He's already been on TV, whining about the call without fear of fine or reprisal.

Could the league's love affair with the freaking Saints be more obvious?

That's it. The Saints are officially my Most Hated NFL Team. The Bears were giving them a run for my money, but this clinches it.

The Rams defender absolutely interfered with the Saints receiver, this play is indicative of the terrible officiating that has plagued the NFL all season.I hope that the committee will address this in the off season and make pass interference and defensive holding a reviewable call. Also could not happen to a better coach than Payton !

They need to simplify the rules. They are asking the refs to look for too much in every play.

Very happy Payton lost today. I wasn't there last year but was told right before the miracle play that Payton turned to the crowd and did the Skol clap. Did that happen?
Also thinking about the Bear fans as they watch all the great kickers they've been seeing in the playoffs. :D

I agree. That is the very 1st time I've heard the Lg offices contacting a coach via phone call immediately after a game.
I've heard Zim say on several occasions I am sure i will receive a LETTER..not a call.. from the lg office saying it was a bad call and we are sorry. Poor Sean got it right away.
Look ,I admit it was a horrible no call. It is indicative at just how bad the officiating has been for the past few years. I do think the competition committee has ALOT to address in the off season.
The no call today did cost the Saints the chance at running out the clock and winning.
BUT.. I not only the horrible calls and no calls against us in the 09 game, I have seen the Saints be the beneficiary of so many favorable calls for years, just like Erin and McCarthy got so many PI calls when they would start raising their arms and crying, the refs would pull out the flag.
Sorry, and I say this unapologetically, but I truly do not feel sorry for the Saints whatsoever because of their history of favorable calls and the main fact that Sean Peyton is the coach.
I have the utmost respect for Drew Brees and it does suck for him, and I wish he wasn't their QB. But he is, so I do have empathy for him, but never ever will for Peyton. I'm glad it happened. As said.. it couldn't have happened to a better recipient of a coach than him.

Man, the Pats have benefited from an awful lot of calls in their favor tonight. When the broadcast "replay specialist" routinely tries to convince me that the call should go in favor of one team, it smells funny.

This league protects Brady in a very biased way. That roughing the passer call was BS.

I disagree. There was only one really bad call and it was the roughing the passer. The pick play where somehow no offensive PI was called later made up for it.
