http://www.espn.com/blog/minnesota-viki ... _/id/26755After taking hold of the No. 3 receiver role with a strong spring, Treadwell is starring in his own redemption biopic in training camp. He's making catch-of-the-day worthy plays against the league's top defense. At this point, he's earned his place in the receiver pecking order. Whether he stays there permanently is up to him.

Inside Laquon Treadwell's Redemption Tour
Great read on Treadwell. I haven't given up on him. He's been having a great camp.

Why in the world did we get rid of Jarius Wright? He would be the perfect WR3 and is proving that with the Panthers this year. For some odd reason we never gave him the opportunity (and I believe he earned it) here in Minnesota? I know he had a $2MM salary, but I would have happily paid it.

Well we all heard the same things about Williamson and Patterson. It was always he is better and this is the year. But it never works out.

Like someone else mentioned, he is getting open but just trying to run before he secures the ball. I think he plays next week with a short leash

He has Bust written all over him. Really guys, How many times have you seen this before? Some guys can't translate from the College Game to the NFL. Time to cut this guy. Bust
Re: Inside Laquon Treadwell's Redemption Tour
If his 4.57 time in the forty yard dash wasn't a warning sign then I don't know what is. He puts zero fear into opposing db's and 100% fear into the fans. I think they fell in love with his size rather than his talent.
Re: Inside Laquon Treadwell's Redemption Tour
His speed is just fine. He is even getting open. He just can't seem to hold onto the ball.
Re: Inside Laquon Treadwell's Redemption Tour
Ummm. Threadwell was the most talented WR coming out of HS. He was the most talented coming out of college. Talent is why he is still around after 2 sub par season.
Talent is not the issue with him, it's translating talent into game day mode.

Cutting Treadwell before June 1 would have saved $2.5 million against the cap.
Go ahead. I dare you.
Underestimate this man.

Re: Inside Laquon Treadwell's Redemption Tour
I know that. So was I.
You were commenting on Wright's salary. But if you subtract the cap savings we would have gotten from cutting Treadwell, the hit for Wright wouldn't have been as hard to handle.
It's all moot now. Jarius Wright is scoring touchdowns for Carolina.
Go ahead. I dare you.
Underestimate this man.
