Newman Retires
I see Newman decided to retire and join coaching staff... Looks like Hill will make the team.
I believe..

I winder if they gave the same type of offer to Robison. It would be nice to see him in the sidelines.

Re: Newman Retires
Probably time but Newman was a stud. So much experience and knowledge. We actually may miss him. I thought for sure he'd play one more year. This team has so much young talent.

It was time. Good leader and I'm happy to have him as a staff member. I'm sure his qualities will rub off with the younger talents.

Love this move of him on our coaching staff

Re: Newman Retires
Any details on what he'll be doing exactly as far as title? Something-something-defensive backs coach I suppose?
Re: Newman Retires
Only thing I've read is that Vikings will release a statement about his exact role at a later time.
I did see an interesting tweet that Newman had been hired by The Athletic. Not sure how that affects his role with the Vikings though, or if it's even true. But it was retweeted by Arif Hasan I believe (who now works for The Athletic).
