Why are people brushing this under the rug.

He Shut. Down. Bradley Chubb.

Is that not an impressive accolade, people?
He had 2 hurries and 2 tackles. He also got hurt that game. Not sure I would call it shut down.
You mean this game?

Aside from the very first tackle which he whiffed, he played an extraordinary game against arguably the best prospect in the draft.

84 million dollar QB and again Rick fails to upgrade the offensive line in the draft.

The first 2 plays he didn't block him and the 3rd was a double team. Ill keep watching.

Play 4,
He pulled and didn't block Chubb

Play 5,
They rolled the pocket away from Chubb.

Was this suppose to prove your point.

6,7,8, 9
He still hasn't matched up with Chubb as Chubb is playing on the left side or he is being used to pull and the TE is downblocking.

At this point, just draft Shaquem Griffin so I can feel less salty about Day 2.

Yup. Rick loves late round picks. I would guess maybe a 5th

Jamaal Stephenson, Vikings’ director of college scouting: It really was about taking the best offensive lineman available (at pick 62). Never seen this many guards go so early.
Thats an alarming statement.
That's a stunning admission.

I'm believing the starting OL week 1 will be Reiff, Easton, Elflein, Andrews, Remmers. Primary Backups Compton and Hill, secondary backups Collins and O'Neil.

So our 2nd rounder might be battling to stay off the practice squad. Nice

I don't think he'll be in danger of going to the practice squad, but I think he is a developmental guy unlikely to contribute this year.

"Strengths: Size, effort.

Weaknesses: Quickness, balance.

Brian O’Neill is a tortoise coming off the line of scrimmage, forcing him to lunge and lose balance as he tries to compensate. He’ll raise injury liability premiums for his quarterback as a left tackle but could be a stopgap on the right side or get the job done at guard. O’Neill took some goal-line carries and threw a few trick-play passes at Pitt, so he may provide a smidge of extra value as a goal-line fullback.

This was an obvious need pick for the Vikings. But O’Neill is too much like the kind of slow-footed offensive line prospect that has gotten the team into trouble in the past.

Grade: D-plus"
