What a bad pick.... a small project tackle whos only highlights they shows were of him running jet sweeps , catching passes etc.... Seriously why do we need someone like this? If you are going for a tackle, why not just take the Alabama guy who did terrible at the combine, who also didnt give up a sack in his whole college career.

Where is this stuff coming from? I swear what I heard Mayok say was great feet, chance to be special, needs to get stronger. I must have missed the part where they said they need to teach him how to play football.

I just think there is better O line available. Mayock also said he was too small, had to put on weight and get stronger... sounds like a project to me. Not worthy of a 2nd round pick, most "experts" had him as a 4th round pick.

He had 2 hurries and 2 tackles. He also got hurt that game. Not sure I would call it shut down.Rhodes Closed wrote:Why are people brushing this under the rug.fiestavike wrote:I repeat. @Andrew_Krammer

Jamaal Stephenson, Vikings’ director of college scouting: It really was about taking the best offensive lineman available (at pick 62). Never seen this many guards go so early.
Another words sounds like Zim & Rick got burnt.

Um, maybe you should have taken a guard in round 1 then? Quit trying to be so dang clever.
