Vikings Draft Prospect Visits

Post by Pondering Her Percy »

I always love looking at walterfootball to see who we have met with regarding draft prospects. And over the years, the site has been very accurate. There are always at least a couple players off this list that we end up drafting.

SR - Senior Bowl meeting.
EW - East-West Shrine meeting.
COM - Combine meeting.
INT - Interested.
VINT - Very Interested.
PRO - Pro Day or campus meeting/workout.
LOC - Local visit. Prospect making a local visit.
PRI - Private visit. Prospect making an official 30 visit.
WOR - Private Workout. Members of an organization working out a player in private.
STM - Some Type of Meeting.
% - indicates more than one meeting at an event.
^ - has met with team at more than one event.

Brian Allen, C, Michigan State (EW)
Dejon Allen, G, Hawaii (PRO)
Jeff Badet^, WR, Oklahoma (EW, PRI)
J.T. Barrett, QB, Ohio State (EW)
Alex Cappa, OT, Humboldt State (PRI)
Lorenzo Carter, 3-4OLB/OLB, Georgia (COM)
Jack Cichy^, OLB/ILB, Wisconsin (WOR, PRO, PRI)

Dante Pettis, WR, Washington (PRI)
Harrison Phillips, DT/3-4DE/NT, Stanford (SR)
Billy Price^, G/C, Ohio State (COM, PRO)
Scott Quessenberry, G/C, UCLA (COM)
Frank Ragnow, G/C, Arkansas (COM)
Justin Reid, S, Stanford (PRI)
Jaleel Scott, WR, New Mexico State (SR)
Nathan Shepherd, DT, Fort Hays State (PRI)
Tre'Quan Smith, WR, Central Florida (SR)
Vyncint Smith, WR, Limestone (PRO)
Greg Stroman, CB, Virginia Tech (EW)
Matthew Thomas, ILB, Florida State (EW)
Damon Webb, S, Ohio State (EW)
Mike White, QB, Western Kentucky (COM)
Jake Wieneke, WR, South Dakota State (COM)

One that sticks out to me on here is Billy Price. And given the ^ next to his name, it shows we've met with him on a few occasions. I will continue to update this as pro-days continue. Here is the direct link:http://walterfootball.com/prospectMeetings/byteam

Jack Cichy is a name I've seen come up on several occasions. Also, Frank Ragnow, that sounds pretty Norse-like.

Could be related to Ragnar  But yes, they have both been mentioned quite often. As for Cichy, I remember last years list, we met with Elijah Lee a ton of times and ended up drafting him. Similar to what we're doing with Cichy.
