Tyrann Mathieu
I grew up in Louisiana so I watch all the LSU games. I've watched his entire college career and I'm telling you this guy has a nose for the ball like nobody I have eve seen. You throw the ball, he's there, you tip the ball he's there, You drop the ball he'll get it, you break into the open he will tackle you , he blitzes the QB he'll get there, the QB drops the Ball , he will end up with it, Hold the Ball loosely He will knock it out of your hands. I'd sign this guy in a second.

Re: Tyrann Mathieu
I would too. I just don't know if they have the cap space left.

I’m still eeeked by his character issues. Sure, he’s been fine for a couple seasons but I don’t want another Fred Smoot.

Re: Tyrann Mathieu
I'd be very concerned about the cost. He was a $12 million a year player in Arizona.
That said, it would be amazing to see what Mike Zimmer could do with both him and Hitman at the safety positions.

Go ahead. I dare you.
Underestimate this man.

He's been hurt a lot though, hasn't he?

Re: Tyrann Mathieu
I would be excited to see him in the slot. We have a real need there. If Mack can develop great but I believe he is an outside corner and is miscast in this defense. They want to turn him into a slot corner but all of his instincts are that of an outside guy. The issue is, he is too short to play outside for Zimmer.

Word has it the Cards we're offering $9 million. He'll likely get more.

Re: Tyrann Mathieu
Injury prone AND the guy is trouble. Even though I think Zim could keep him focused on football all year round. Still no thanks. Unless we had a lot of extra cap space. But thinking of Smith and Mathieu back there, that would be fun. And the things Zim would think up would just be awesome.
