That is why I respectfully disagree with the earlier comment that Parcells allegedly made about Zimmer and Payton being the same 'guy' in different clothes. (The point was trying to be made that they were both 'competitors.') I can't ever picture Zim doing anything that classless.PurpleMustReign wrote:If Mike Zimmer or any Vikings coach ever did something like that, I would want him fired. What an arrogant think to do.

Totally agree. No way Zimm would taunt rival fans, or other low character things that Payton's done in his career.Just Me wrote:That is why I respectfully disagree with the earlier comment that Parcells allegedly made about Zimmer and Payton being the same 'guy' in different clothes. The only thing I will admit to is being too close to an onion upon watching and re-watching replays until later that night. At the time it happened and I was summoned from my car to come back in (by my son) and see what just transpired I was just in shock.DK Sweets wrote:Anybody else willing to admit they cried or am I just a baby-back ####?

Here is a link to an article that has a bunch of clips that Kevin Harlan called. His call of the last play is cool too, and even his voice cracked.

Re: Holy F*ckin sh*t post-game thread madness
I was watching the game at a bar in WI. I started cussing after the Saints took the lead. The people next to me said, "that's what the Vikings always do".
Then the miracle happened and I started hugging strangers and bought everyone at the bar a round. Thank God the bar only had 8 people there.

My luck I would have done that and not realized there was another full room or something.dreamerjohn wrote:I was watching the game at a bar in WI. I started cussing after the Saints took the lead. The people next to me said, "that's what the Vikings always do".

Peyton is a POS, and the Eagles fans (a lot of them) take after him. Dont believe me, go to a game with a Vikings cap on some day when the vikes are playing them (like this Sunday). Worst fans in the NFL.

Kevin Harlan is my favorite announcer, anywhere, by far. That guy could call Bingo at the community center and make it exciting.PurpleMustReign wrote:Here is a link to an article that has a bunch of clips that Kevin Harlan called. His call of the last play is cool too, and even his voice cracked.

I've never seen Kevan Harlan biased in any way.Dmizzle0 wrote:No argument there.J. Kapp 11 wrote:Kevin Harlan is my favorite announcer, anywhere, by far. Wayne Larrivee is the Packers' radio announcer. He used to do some national broadcasts, but thankfully he doesn't show up on TV much anymore.
EDIT: Kevin Harlan is actually the son of former Packers President Bob Harlan. Even more remarkable ... you never hear even a hint of bias with Harlan.
Go ahead. I dare you.
Underestimate this man.
