I would rather face the Panthers. But the Saints are looking really good. The Saints concern me. They are much better than they were week one. A championship calibre team right now with the two headed monster at running back and some VERY fast receivers and Breeze who is as good as anyone in the playoffs right now.

I agree with this 100%. Plus, I think our defense matches up well with their offense. Our defensive backfield can cover guys long enough to force Brees to hold the ball and Linval/Barr/Kendricks are the perfect antidote for Ingram/Kamara. I also believe our offense will be able to score easier against the Saints than the Panthers.Cliff wrote:If we can't beat the Saints we can't win the super bowl anyway.
Either way, it will be fun. I can’t wait to hear how loud the house of pain is next week!

Zach Line sighting. This better not be a blowout, I want the Saints starters out there all 4 quarters.

Carolina is suffering from a few inopportune drops but are moving the ball. It wouldn’t surprise me if they find a way to climb back into it.

So far the Saints ripping the Panthers a new one. Looking far superior in first half. Defense can't stop Bree's and company. Gawd I hate that smug S. Payton

I always liked Line, but Ham has been great. It’s really a shame about Ham’s nefkS197 wrote:Zach Line sighting. This better not be a blowout, I want the Saints starters out there all 4 quarters.

It is really closer than it looks, I think. It's dumb luck on the Saints part that it's not 16-21 at the half with the Panthers getting the ball back.S197 wrote:Zach Line sighting. This better not be a blowout, I want the Saints starters out there all 4 quarters.

I agree 100 % there about Payton. Have zero respect for him. Would love to destroy him in our house but they still scare me. If we can pressure Brees we should be ok but Brees is such a competitor and if he has time and gets hot he can be scary.autobon7 wrote:So far the Saints ripping the Panthers a new one. Brees is last in the league when pressured. Formula is simple I think. Control the run ( like how Carolina has done), and pressure Brees (which Carolina has not done).
Panthers offense have been moving at will, Vikings should be able to do the same.

Yes, it looks like their strategy is selling out to stop the run.autobon7 wrote:The Panthers just cannot stop the pass. They are lucky the Saints are not up by more.

I not only hate the Saints, they are the best team, other then the Vikes, in the NFC. I'm hoping the Panthers can pull this game off.

I see it the other way, Saints are lucky the Panthers dropped the TD pass and didn't convert their red zone opportunitiesPurple Domination wrote: Yes, it looks like their strategy is selling out to stop the run.
