Week 12 Reaction Thread
Whew.

I can eat dinner. Yay!
Re: Week 12 Reaction Thread
Case... keep'em? He made some pretty incredible throws on key downs and avoided sacks.
Diggs with a huge 3rd down conversion with the stretch.
Rudolph big in the red zone.
We have a 1,000 yard WR!
Defense was softer than normal but came up big when needed. Especially Everson.

Did we escape without any major injuries?

When a team is up, and the coaching staff decides to "not" go for the throat, it's dangerous.
Conservative football in the second half, and especially in the 4th, can cost you a game.
Luckily it did not happen this time.
Go Vikes...Hey OC, how about going for a couple more touchdowns next time instead of simply running up the middle over and over trying to avoid a loss. I'd much rather go for a resounding win.

Wow. Really didn't enjoy that second half. But they got through it - 9-2 gotta love it.
Am I the only one who is expecting our kicker to miss every single time? Can you imagine him kicking for a game winner in post season? I don't think I could handle it.

To be fair, one of the misses was because of the hold. However, I do get a lot more nervous when they have to settle for a kick.UK Phil wrote:Wow. Really didn't enjoy that second half. But they got through it - 9-2 gotta love it.

Did their red zone TD streak get snapped?

Re: Week 12 Reaction Thread
Wow! What a game.
Look guys, I know we almost blew a big lead. But at least we BUILT a big lead. We put up more than 400 yards of total offense and held yet another opponent to less than 300. And we won.
Case Keenum was simply magnificent, especially in the first half. That second TD to Rudolph was as good a throw as you'll see in the NFL this year. Guy about to bury him, split-second decision, ball right on the money. He again played turnover-free football and threw for nearly 300 yards.
Adam Thielen did what we've come to expect him to do. Came up with big catches, caught more than 5, and went over 1,000 yards. What a story.
Stefon Diggs came up huge in the second half. He had a number of plays on third down to keep the clock running.
I think the Lions got a lot of breaks with the zebras today. The last TD drive they had was pretty much all on the refs, and most of the calls were garbage. Oh well. It happens.
It was obvious that both teams were feeling the effects of playing an early game four days after their last game. There were a lot of missed tackles.
Our kicking team ... wow, that was horrific. Extra points have been an adventure, but now field goals are. Once again, we left points on the board, making it 10 points in two games. Make all kicks today, and we win by 11.
Guys, I know it wasn't pretty, but it was a tough road game on a Thursday morning. Bottom line is that we're 9-2. We've won 7 straight. We're 3 up in the division with 5 to play. We're the No. 2 seed in the NFC, and Philly had better not let up. We've also got 10 days to get ready for Carolina. These next two weeks are huge. We said there were 5 games that were going to define our season. Three down, two to go.
