Five games for Division Championship
I figure we need five wins to win the division this year.
Detroit has lost four as of today
Green Bay has lost three with the last two straight losses
Bears would basically have to win out or
have everyone else tank, at this point.

I expect the Lions to beat the Packers next Monday. I just don't see Hundley going toe to toe with Stafford.

Most of us having saying for years the Packers
are nothing without Rodgers, looks like we will
find out over the next few months.
So far, it sure looks that way. Seeing their
back up celebrate the run touchdown when
he barely threw the ball all day, priceless.

I said this in a post over on NFL Talk.jackal wrote:Most of us having saying for years the Packers

Mike McCarthy has coached exactly 8 games out of 184 without a first ballot Hall-of-Famer as his starting quarterback. His record in those games is 2-5-1.
That should not inspire confidence in the Packers. Yet Sports Illustrated still ranks them ahead of the Vikings.
I want the Packers to finish 4-12. Not gonna lie about it. Mike McCarthy has ridden the coattails of Favre and Rodgers his entire career. He's the most overrated coach in the NFL, and I'm looking forward to his epic failure in 2017.
Go ahead. I dare you.

Don't want to nit-pick but it's 11 games and he is 3-7-1 in those games.J. Kapp 11 wrote: I said this in a post over on NFL Talk.

Yeah....no. I want them to go 8-8. 4-12 opens the door for them to fall backwards into another hall-of-famer.J. Kapp 11 wrote: I said this in a post over on NFL Talk.

You're probably right. Sam Darnold would fall into their laps, and he'd sit for four years before starting his HOF career.DK Sweets wrote:Yeah....no. I want them to go 8-8. 4-12 opens the door for them to fall backwards into another hall-of-famer.
But I'd still rather see them lose out.
Every year, there are two things you can pretty much bet your house on.
1. Peter King will predict Packers vs. Steelers in the Super Bowl, even though it's never happened.
2. The Packers will make the playoffs and come up short.
With McCarthy, they make the playoffs virtually every year, then lose. The only time they've won more than 1 playoff game under McCarthy was during Rodgers' Super Bowl season.
So I'm willing to risk them getting a high draft pick just to see McCarthy piss and moan on the sidelines. And y'know, Rodgers was drafted at No. 24, so they don't need a high draft pick to fall into a barrel of dumb luck.
Go ahead. I dare you.

Crap. I'm wrong. I own that one.
I still hate the Packers, Mike McCarthy, and Peter King's annual Steelers vs. Packers prediction.

Re: Five games for Division Championship
In some ways I want the Packers to go 4-12. The unfortunate thing about that happening would be that they might fire McCarthy and put someone competent in there. So let's hear it for 7-9, and the Packers fans talking about how they would have won it all if not for Anthony Barr, and them not actually doing anything to improve the team.J. I want the Packers to lose every single game they play, as long as it doesnt hurt our playoff chances.

Re: Five games for Division Championship
A division win would be GREAT! Don't expect a deep, playoff run though.

Sorry that exchange made me laugh
When was our last Super Bowl 76 ? Or
something ?
Geez that was like forty years ago ...
I was like 8 years old or something
God I hope we manage to get one in
the next few years. Its getting hard to
even have a little hope anymore.
