Can we suck any worse? What an awful game. Maybe Zimmer can prepare his players before next week.

Pretty much, I remember when the lions use to shoot themselves in the foot against us.soflavike wrote:Wow... everybody contributed to this garbage fire. Incredible.

From the penthouse to the outhouse!
Don't hate on my Buckeyes. Some of the best Vikings went to Ohio State.

Re: Lions @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 4
I am done with Mike Zimmer. I am sick of his defense, sick of his offense, and sick of his special teams. He has not out coached anyone in his 3+ years. He has regressed. At least Denny Green gave us a chance, as much flack as he took. Heck, even Mike Tice gave us a chance.

For starting a crap QB and losing there best offensive weapon, yes prepare them for that.PurpleKoolaid wrote:Can we suck any worse? What an awful game. Maybe Zimmer can prepare his players before next week.

Nope. Always said that was a mistake and have said it many times on here. It's just your constant whining every time something goes wrong is extremely tiringPurpleKoolaid wrote:Pot, meet kettle. You would probably still defend Rick getting Carlson.

Yep both losses came with poor discipline or execution. Not so much this game but they definitely left opportunities out there. Forbath missing a chip should could also be considered a turnover.dead_poet wrote:Can't turn the ball over that many times, go 0-4 on legit turnover opportunities (5 if you count the fumble) plus lose your offensive centerpiece all with a backup QB and expect to win.
Re: Lions @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 4
This team clearly isn't ready to be winners. Too many stupid mistakes. Kickers can't be missing chip shots. RB s can't be dropping first down passes. WR can't be fumbling on a potential game tying drive. Just a bunch of guys that need to learn to WIN. THEY JUST LOST TO THE FREAKING LIONS!!! That is not acceptable. It all goes back to the missed FG. It took the wind out of their sails. If he makes that we don't need to go for 7 on 4th and goal. We can kick a fg and be down one. Then the last drive all we gotta do is move the ball 30 yards and kick a walk off FG and get outta here with a division win. Damn vikings gonna viking.

Did you see the game or trying to start something? It was a horribly played game in all 3 areas, ST, D, and O.allday1991 wrote: For starting a crap QB and losing there best offensive weapon, yes prepare them for that.
