I am taking the over myself. I think we improved a lot on offense.
Re: Will the Vikings Win 9 Games Or More?
Over for me as well, mainly for the same reason as you Hunter.
We have improved on offense and having a full pre-season for Bradford to practice with his offensive weapons, and having Shurmur's game plan from the start will only help the offense imho.
Although I have to say I'm concerned about Shurmur, but we'll see...

I can see 11-5 or 12-4. Yes, I am that optimistic.
Vikings fan since Nov. 6, 1966. Annoying Packer fans since Nov. 7, 1966

I went 8-8
I think the D overall will take a step back based on how they finished last season, and the O will take a step forward with an improvement from their disaster of an OL, Bradford with a year under his belt, and a better running game
a step forward and a step back should put them right where they finished, 8-8

Since the season has not yet begun, hope springs eternal. At least nine wins.
Don't hate on my Buckeyes. Some of the best Vikings went to Ohio State.
Including now, HOF WR #80 Cris Carter

I'm optimistic for the most part except the oline. I think they are pretty well set and have a talented roster everywhere else.

Voted Yes
I feel like we made some key editions this off season without losing much of our core talent. Also, the vikings always do opposite of what is expected of them. Last year they were a dark horse super bowl pick, and they blasted our of the gate and fizzled. This year they are "power" ranked in the 20s so i am expecting to end up int he top 10 with a solid consistent year (more so than last year) but will probably end up with a first or second round playoff loss.
Still holding out for complete domination and a super bowl win. The off season is time for the fans to recover as well as the players. 31 teams worth of fans were losers last year and want another shot at glory this year. Despite the later part of last season i am getting awful excited for the upcoming season, already thinking about what i am going to be eating on the Sundays ahead.

Being perhaps the most stupidly optimistic Vikings fan on the planet, I voted 9+.
Go ahead. I dare you.
Underestimate this man.
Re: Will the Vikings Win 9 Games Or More?
I voted 9 wins. With all the hardships the Vikings faced last year, they still got 8 wins. If we don't get 9+ wins this year, the excuses wont matter (at least to me).
I've told people a million times not to exaggerate!

I see this as an 11 win team. Hopefully we can break out out of our tendency to play down to the level of our opponents. If we hadn't given away 2 games to Detroit last year we would have been in the playoffs.

Re: Will the Vikings Win 9 Games Or More?
I think this is at least a nine win season. Anything less than 9 is bs. The Packers have Rodgers, and Rodgers is Rodgers, but I think we can at least split the games with every divisional team. That puts us at least 3-3. Games against the Bills, Saints, Buccaneers, Ravens, Browns, Rams, Redskins, 49ers and Panthers sound like potemtial wins to me. I think we have one of the easiest schedules in the league. The only rough games outside of the division look like the Steelers and the Seahawks and the last time we played the Seahawks we were one Blair Walsh 27 yard chip shot away from beating them. I think the hardest games on the schedule are easily the Packers games and if we sweep them, we're golden.
