3 or 4? Let me tell you right now, you're going to be disappointed if that's your expectation. Only 4 were taken in the first 50 picks!

I think two is realistic, maybe another depending on the round but it's abundantly clear the talent is not there this year.

This is a high risk, high reward pick. The kid is clearly very talented.

I am excited to see him play and hoping he can transition well to MN and leave some of his past behind him.

This is a great pick up and i rarely like RPs moves. The 4th ounder is exactly what teams have given up to move up 7 spots in the 2nd. Google Chi trade up last year. They gave up a 4th. Perfect value.

Watching his highlight reel, getting tired of hearing breaks a tackle! and turns the corner!. Can't he do anything else? :D

There are plebt of 3rd roubd caliber OL in this draft. The lack of talent was in the first two rounds but there are plent 3rd roubd guys that can be a quality starter.

Good pick as Feeney went next to the Chargers.

Rick's presser:

Interesting answer to the question regarding his leaving negative influences behind in Miami: he knows Xavier and Teddy.
I wonder if they will take him under their wing. I have to say, I am a bit nervous about Cook off the field. On the field, I'm excited.

I agree..Philly would have been in on Cook and Cincy took Mixon. SD was going oline, and it would have been a long wait for eflein to fall

I'm actually not too worried about the off field stuff, the more I read the more it sounds like it wasn't a huge deal. Some trouble in high school and acquitted (in 25 minutes) in college. Sounds like a lot of the negative press going around was by a "runner" that was supposedly false.

I'm more worried about his injuries and ball security.

So funny enough I watched this video on Cook last night hoping one of my teams would draft him.

Offseason Goal: Draft durable, tough, intelligent offensive lineman who are dependable technicians and avoid penalties aka drive killers.

I like the trades. I like the picks.
I have a good friend who is a well respected high school football coach, his dad played for the redskins for many years, and he is a realist. He is a skins fan and wanted them to pick cook at 17 for them. Think we did ok today. Breathe easy people!
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.
