We dont have the cap space to spend on turning him into a cyborg.

Haha. Fair point. I've never played on the offensive line before but what I hear is that RT is easier than LT so potentially he could be an average RT as opposed to a terrible LT.

There's nothing official yet but Matt Vensel, Vikes beat writer for the Star Tribune, tweeted:

The NFL trade deadline appears to have passed without the #Vikings, who have a need at tackle but little salary cap space, making a deal.

Sure would have been nice to see Joe Thomas manning the LT spot.
