roto world talks about Pats shopping him, but the write up is not encouraging......
The MMQB's Albert Breer reports the Patriots are "shopping" Aaron Dobson.
They're shopping him because he'll be cut if/when they can't find a trade partner. Dobson has played over 100 snaps this summer, but has a modest six catches for 96 yards to show for it. Always hurt and mistake-prone, Dobson probably won't fetch a conditional day-three pick. Aug 30 - 2:48 PM

Ok, I like Teddy, but 'Noone close to him'? You are severely overrating or underrating someone.
Sanchez, Foles, and Vick are all capable of Teddys production.
Production, from what we've seen to this point, sure...But those others are also well capable of deeper levels of ineptitude than Teddy. The flip side of the coin, if you will.

Are they really though? I think if Teddy was to continue at his current pace for a couple more years he wouldn't be looked at much differently in terms of ineptitude, he just has the luxury of still being dubbed 'A young player'.
I think Vick would be a the perfect fit for the Vikings, and im very weary when it comes to old veteran aquisitions at QB.

Dude, stop. We're not looking to match Teddy's 2015. He was poised for much better. We're not going to find much better.
'Poised for much better'? You probably thought Bridgewater was poised for 'much better' coming off his rookie year but that didn't happen.
Maybe you think Bridgewater was going to take a massive step and start putting up numbers that no backup could dream of touching, but I certainly don't. I think the biggest issue with this injury is development of Bridgewater, but their are several QBs available who have shown the ability to play as good or better then Bridgewater.

We will see how serious we are about competing. By who we go after.
But I Have a feeling Rick will give Mettenberger a call. Because the price would be right.
when Heinicke comes back let him & Mettenberger compete for whatever spot.
While Hill starts.
