I did too. He reminds me of Marcus Sherels, except probably a better corner. But he always worked hard and turned into a pretty good player.DK Sweets wrote:I really liked Abdullah. Hopefully he has an amazing life after football.

Raiders and Aldon Smith have agreement in place, source told ESPN. Smith was spotted at team building today, trying to finalize deal.

I'm impressed how aggressive the raiders have been in the FA market. It will be interesting to see how it improves their team.dead_poet wrote:

Wow Rams make HUGE trade up to get the #1 pick from the Titans. Involves multiple 1st, 2nd, 3rd round picks in 2016 and 2017
Just like the RG3 trade but the Rams are on the other side this time.
I hope it backfires on them. I hate fisher and Williams

I didn't know that you could rescind. Seems like a prickish move. Tag the guy until teams have spent most of their cap money then rescind.dead_poet wrote:Carolina rescinds Franchise tag for Josh Norman. Free agent.

Yeah, I will be interested in the details to come on this one. He would look good in Purple though.S197 wrote: I didn't know that you could rescind. Seems like a prickish move. Tag the guy until teams have spent most of their cap money then rescind.

Re: Notable 2016 Offseason Moves
Sounds like Carolina believed they wouldn't have been able to keep him past 2016. Add the fact that they were offering $11 million/year when he was reportedly seeking between $16-17-per and they decided to just part ways and save the cash. That's a big commitment for a 29 year-old zone corner. I hope he doesn't end up in Chicago.S197 wrote: I didn't know that you could rescind. Seems like a prickish move.
