I think there is a lot more going on behind the scenes for him to get demoted to 3rd string. Than what we are hearing about.
That's confirmed as of this morning.

I'm also betting this to be the case.

Well lets be honest, Johnny has already admitted he didn't really try hard his first year..

He has had multiple things happen. The free way argument, The hotel incident where
with the fan. Rehab ...

Johnny also based on reports lied to the team about the incident, as well.

Johnny also was on the plane with the guy that got the one year suspension who
was already on the protocol.

If someone has a drinking problem they should not drink.. I have several people I know like this.
One beer or shot for them turns into thirty until they pass out. They have drunk driving arrests...
some of them have multiple DUI's.

I think ultimately this is about seeing if Johnny can be a functional human being. His play on the field is meaningless if you can't rely on him.

Why did they wait till Wednesday to figure out Manziel might have a concussion?
What your thoughts on what's going on there?

Sometimes concussion symptoms don't show up until later.

Of course it also could be a convenient cover after more video emerged of him partying. Though the coach has little to gain by playing that game at this point. He'll probably get the boot shortly.

The coach should get another year. How many coaches does Cleveland have to go through before the owners realize that there are other problems within the organization? They need a new GM, not a new coach.

Well, they were both fired. Back to square one again. What a mess. The owner is the real issue.

Apparently he was seen in a casino in Vegas Saturday night. Not sure if it's true.

Report: Johnny Manziel wore blonde wig, glasses in Vegas

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutd ... 34297.html
Our sources tell us Manziel was at a popular night club on the strip Saturday night. The QB entered wearing a blonde wig, a fake mustache, glasses, and a hoodie.

Manziel introduced himself as “Billy.” He was there into the 3am hour and when it came time to pay the bill, he asked to have it comped because he didn’t bring cash and also didn’t want to put it on his card.

ESPN.com's Pat McManamon reported the Browns plan to part ways with Manziel in March.
Browns executive vice president of football operations Sashi Brown released a statement regarding Manziel:

We've been clear about expectations for our players on and off the field. Johnny's continual involvement in incidents that run counter to those expectations undermines the hard work of his teammates and the reputation of our organization. His status with our team will be addressed when permitted by league rules. We will have no further comment at this time.
He can't be released before next week.
Manziel has told people the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Rams and Kansas City Chiefs have all expressed interest in him, per Ed Werder of ESPN.

Boy did we get lucky that the Browns traded for that pick instead of us!
Close one.
Always said I wanted nothing to do with these type of players. Even if they're available in the supplemental draft...they cost you games, if not seasons. Same goes for Gordon, Burfict, etc etc.

LoL ...The Browns are concerned about their reputation based on Manziel?
That organization should pay it's fans for supporting it.
I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if a better team grabs Manziel and he gets significantly more serious. The guy has talent and a bucket of issues....but who the hell wants to play for the Browns? Every other season they have a new HC.
Still...glad he's not a Viking.

Yes, that could have been an absolute disaster for the Vikes.
