It's a solid pick. Just remember, Vikes, you need to be able to block people.

Hopefully, they'll land a good guard in R3.
+1!

There should be a decent guard there. I'd be shocked if they didn't take one by the 4th.

You are correct.

Who is going to be available 29 picks from now? I'm with Mothman - I want the Best Player Available to be an offensive lineman.

According to NFL network, Gregory was 90 minutes late for one team's interview, and missed another completely.

I'll take the other side on that one. Seems way too risky for a 3rd round pick. Also don't like a guy involved in a murder investigation making ultimatums about not signing if he isn't drafted tonight.

Good pick. Great player and fills a big need.

People seem to agree:

Let's get a WR next.

There will be a run soon on lineman. Maybe now is the time to move up several spots?

Walter football once again loves our pick. Do they hand out any trophies right after the draft?

Minnesota Vikings: Eric Kendricks, ILB, UCLA: A+ Grade
This is my favorite pick of the second round so far. Eric Kendricks is a first-round prospect. I had him going to Nos. 24 and 30 in various updates of my mock draft. He should've been the first inside linebacker off the board, so he's an absolute steal in the middle of the second frame. He fills a huge need for Minnesota in the middle of its defense.

Don't look now, but our defense is getting wicked fast. I wanted Perryman because I never thought Kendricks would be available. Nice job trader Rick for holding fast.

I think there's a good chance that we find a solid one next round.

I love the pick. It was a great pick. I was really disappointed when McKinney was selected, but I forgot Kendricks was still on the board.

Just looked up the mock draft at Walter Football and he had Kendricks going at number 24 in the first round, for what that's worth. And I'd say 500 tackles (is that really right?) does mean something, means he probably has a good feel for the game.

Spielman is obviously attracted to gold helmets (UCLA, ND, FSU). Look for Tre Jackson in the 3rd.
