Zimmer will keep him on his toes. Not sure Parker would have fit in this offense. Not like there weren't question marks about him too...

I didn't even like that highlight reel on ESPN. Hopefully I'm wrong on this, but I didn't hear many good things about him leading up to the draft.

The board fell pretty much the worst it could have.

Waynes can't play corner?PurpleKoolaid wrote: Williams and Peter could have been gotten later, and can actually play corner. Dupre or Parker are instant play makers.

People seem to like the pick more than I do:

Tell us what you really think of the posters here!
Just kidding, I totally get it. In fact, since Zimmer knows what makes for a solid D player, I feel confident in the pick.

Could have gotten him with our next pick. But im guessing Rick and Zimmer studied him longer then I did. He was the one name I didnt want to hear.frosted wrote: Waynes can't play corner?

Marcus Peters is the better corner. I am not a fan of this pick whatsoever.

Defense! Defense! Defense! Waynes is not a bad pick. Think we will be happy. If he is a Zimmer pick.what's not to like

Don't hate on my Buckeyes. Some of the best Vikings went to Ohio State.
Including now, HOF WR #80 Cris Carter

So, do the Vikings trade back into the 1st a take a wide receiver?

Re: 2015 NFL Draft thread
I get nervous when the main skill people list for him is how fast he is. Robinson is fast, but so what, doesn't make him a good corner. It's not like he was shutting guys down either in college.
Re: 2015 NFL Draft thread
I was split between Waynes and Parker, so I'm happy.
