Version 1.0
* indicates a motherf*cking trade

1 – Bucs – Jameis Winston
2* – Cleveland - Marcus Mariota
3 – Jaguars– Leonard Williams
4* – Falcons– Vic Beasley
5 – Washington – Dante Fowler, Jr.
6 – Jets – Andrus Peat
7 – Bears – Danny Shelton
8* – Raiders – Amari Cooper
9 – Giants – Brandon Scherff
10 – Rams – Kevin White
11* – Chiefs – Devante Parker
12 – Titans – Todd Gurley
13 – Saints – La'el Collins
14 – Dolphins – Trae Waynes
15 – 49ers – Arik Armstead
16 – Texans – Malcom Brown
17 – Chargers – Bud Dupree
18 – Vikings – Marcus Peters
19 – Titans – Cameron Erving
20 – Eagles – Breshad Perriman
21 – Bengals – Shane Ray

23* – Cowboys– Melvin Gordon
24 – Cardinals – Byron Jones
25 – Panthers – D.J. Humphries

28 – Broncos – Eric Kendricks
29 – Colts – Landon Collins
30 – Packers – Jalen Collins
31* – Vikings– Shaq Thompson
32 – Patriots – Eric Rowe

Some notes:

Predicting trades is HAAAAARD.

I think Cleveland is just dysfunctional and desperate enough to make the Titans very, very happy. I'm not about to predict what the compensation will be but it'll be a lot. It benefits the Titans a lot to trade out of this position if they're truly confident with The Mett. Even if they're not, the bounty they receive for the pick will make it too hard to pass.

I honestly have no idea what the Bears are going to do. Shelton is the natural fit, mostly because they have such a HUGE need there. Will Sutton isn't good to begin with and would be worse in Fangio's 3-4. He's just not big enough. I almost mocked Waynes to them but they need an anchor badly. I'm not sure waiting until the second round would be wise. You could make the case Shelton is their "BPA" there for that scheme.

The Jets are tough to figure out, too. I could easily see them go Dupree or Kevin White. I actually had White to them but switched it. They need tackle help and Peat can start on the right side before moving on to LT in 2016. Signing Brandon Marshall gave them a bit of breathing room but it still wouldn't surprise me if they took him.

There's got to be a few more trades but the way this fell that's all that really made the most sense.

I might be off with my Detroit pick (well, on most of these probably). I nearly put Coleman here. Detroit has shown a ton of interest in Coleman and I have a hard time believing he'll be there for their second pick but it could happen. As it stands they somehow have a very balanced roster with a hole at DT.

I'll post some more notes later probably. Feedback welcome!

Overall, I like your ideas. I am glad that you were bold and predicted trades. I never do because trades are so hard to predict hahaha.

I am a Shaq Thompson fan through and through, but something tells that me Minnesota would trade back into round one to snag Erick Kendricks and not Thompson.

I cannot wait for tomorrow night. SKOL.

Sure! It's fun, even though if it feels a little like a lesson in futility and like trying to correctly identify lottery numbers.

I can see why.

That's sure possible and I like him too but in this scenario Kendricks is gone at 28. I don't know if Rick wants or is able to part with enough ammo to move up from 45 to 27. That's a pretty substantial move. The way I figured it the Saints are in rebuild mode and may want to get even more picks and have already selected in round 1. They may be willing to part with another to get even more. Even going from 45 to 31 is going to be a costly move, so I don't see it really happening this year but I threw it in there anyway.
I cannot wait for tomorrow night. SKOL.
I know! It's been grueling to get to this point. Less than 24 hours now!

Version 2.0
* indicates a motherf*cking trade

Some changes all over. The Bears, Jets and Lions picks are giving me fits. If the top five work out this way I think I have to go back and give the Jets either Cooper or White, which will screw a whole bunch up.

I'm tempted to mock Fisher to the Eagles. I can't decide between Fisher and Phillips to the Broncos. Whoever it is needs to start immediately (which is why I had Kendricks there originally).

The Patriots are another one that's hard to pin down. They could go a number of ways but Collins here could be a steal and they need some corner help after losing Revis.

I keep seeing Perryman to the Packers and I love that because I think Kendricks is the superior player but I'm counting on Thompson to frustratingly do the right thing, shifting Matthews back outside.

Lacking necessary ammo (even with additional picks given by the Chiefs here) the Vikings don't trade back into the first round this year. Rick decides the value is in the second round and maximizes the picks there instead.

1 – Bucs – Jameis Winston
2* – Cleveland - Marcus Mariota
3 – Jaguars– Dante Fowler, Jr.
4* – Falcons– Leonard Williams
5 – Washington – Vic Beasley
6 – Jets – Andrus Peat
7 – Bears – Danny Shelton
8* – Raiders – Amari Cooper
9 – Giants – Brandon Scherff
10 – Rams – Kevin White
11* – Chiefs – Devante Parker
12 – Titans – Todd Gurley
13 – Saints – La'el Collins
14 – Dolphins – Trae Waynes
15 – 49ers – Arik Armstead

Something's wrong here if Shelton is going above Cooper, White and Scherff. Redskins primed for a call, likely from the Saints or Titans.

I notice you have Gregory falling out of the 1st, which is certainly a high probability. If he's sitting there in the 2nd, do you take the risk?

Do you mean for the Vikings pick? Probably not. I say this mostly because I heard on NFL radio yesterday from a former GM/host that he has "good information" that there might be more that comes out about Gregory. If true, other teams probably are privy to such information and thus he's off Rick's board entirely.

Version 3.0

Some major changes, especially up top. Also removed La'el Collins, who is being questioned for a homicide. Even if he's cleared, this is horrible timing for him. I don't know how a GM can take him in the first round right now, if at all. In this version picks 8-10 were a bit difficult as this is not the ideal situation for any of those teams. I'm tempted to have the Chiefs trade with the Rams but for now I'll leave it. I'm tempted to mock Maxx Williams to Denver but I'm thinking they may bite on Martellus Bennett, who is reportedly on the trade block.

1 – Bucs – Jameis Winston
2* – Cleveland (from Tennessee) - Marcus Mariota
3 – Jaguars – Amari Cooper
4 – Raiders– Leonard Williams
5* – Falcons (from Washington) – Dante Fowler, Jr.
6 – Jets – Vic Beasley
7 – Bears – Kevin White
8* – Washington (Falcons) – Brandon Scherff
9 – Giants – Andrus Peat
10 – Rams – Ereck Flowers
11* – Chiefs (from Vikings) – Devante Parker
12* – Titans (Cleveland) – Todd Gurley
13 – Saints – Danny Shelton

Here's my final Final Revision.

Notes/ramblings:

I'm going with a Cleveland trade up to #2 for Mariota.

I Dropped La'El Collins out of the first, Unless he's fully and publicly exonerated he's untouchable. I doubt that's going to happen in the next 8 hours.

I'm still calling a Gurley to the G-men shocker, they like to go BPA, and Gurley would be the BPA.

I still believe the Vikes are trading back, I just can't diagnose where to, and for who.

One of my first mocks I did, (which I didn't post) had Jax taking Kevin White, I'm semi reverting to that thought by giving them Cooper instead of Fowler. The most important thing they can do is back up Bortles and give him every shot and weapon to be the Franchise savior. Cooper is one of the three Best Players in this draft, and would step in day one as Bortles go to guy.

1 – Bucs – Winston, Jameis, QB, Florida St.
2 – Browns - Mariota, Marcus, QB, Oregon (Trade w/ Titans)
3 – Jaguars - Cooper, Amari, WR, Alabama
4 – Raiders – Wiliams, Leonard, DL, USC
5 – Washington – Fowler. Jr, Date, DE/OLB, Florida
6 – Jets – White, Kevin, WR, West Virginia
7 – Bears – Beasley, Vic, OLB/EDGE, Clemson
8 – Falcons –Dupree, Bud, EDGE, Kentucky
9 – Giants – Gurley, Todd, RB, Georgia
10 – Rams – Flowers, Ereck, OT, Miami
11 – Vikings – Parker, Devante, WR, Louisville
12 – Titans – Waynes, Trae, CB, Michigan St. (Trade w/ Browns)
13 – Saints – Shelton, Danny, DT ,Washington
14 – Dolphins – Perriman, Breshad, WR, UCF
15 – 49ers – Scherff, Brandon, OL, Iowa
16 – Texans – Agholor, Nelson, WR, USC
17 – Chargers – Gordon III, Melvin, RB, Wisconsin
18 – Chiefs – Johnson, Kevin, CB, Wake Forest
19 – Titans – Randall, Damarious, S, Arizona State (Trade w/ Browns)
20 – Eagles – Jones, Byron, CB, Connecticut
21 – Bengals – Peters, Marcus, CB, Washington

I'm glad I'm not alone out on the Gurley to the Giants limb. Now remember, if the branch gets cut out from under us, don't look down... that way we won't fall. It works in the cartoons.

That Green-Beckham to the Ravens pick is real gutsy. After Ray Rice and all that drama. It makes sense on the field, I'll admit.

Edit: I will not be a happy man if Green Bay gets Ray, Detroit gets Gordon and Chicago takes White. Again, makes tons of sense, just hate to see the enemy get those kind of players.

That's a solid effort. The surprises for me are:

Gurley #9 to the Giants. Can definitely see it happening and if it does the Giants get some credit for not having any leaks about their interest in him.

Peat #10 to Rams. Agree that the Rams would like another OT (even after drafting Robinson #1 overall last year). Peat is probably the safest bet for a pure LT but that would mean they are giving up on Robinson at LT. If so ... that's a major draft mistake by the Rams because you don't take an OL #1 overall if he doesn't play LT. I'm inclined to think they are going to give Robinson this year at LT to see if he can handle it. If that's the case I could see them taking Scherff or Erik Flowers to play RT.

Kendricks #24 to Arizona. I personally don't think Kendricks has a first round grade. If Arizona goes this way I'd call it drafting for need over BPA.

Ray #30 to Green Bay. I hope that doesn't happen. He has a chance to be a clone of Robert Mathis. Clay Matthews and Shane Ray as edge rushers in a 3-4 could spell trouble for the rest of the NFC North. Does Ted Thompson have any history of taking guys with off-field problems in the first round?

Thing is many people seem to be of the mind that there really aren't 32 guys with first round grades. I've seen the number pegged at around 16 true first rounders. This could be a pretty wild draft if all of the GMs feel that way. We could see quite a few picks that are called reaches based on what the public's perceives the value as, as opposed to what the team thinks, as well as a bunch of trades.

I had Kendricks there in my first, I think this is the kind of player that coaches will hold in higher regard than the scouts and the TV draft pundits.

Thank you for the feedback guys. I really appreciate it.

I will admit, I surprised even myself this year with my own picks. This draft has been so confusing to project. I may only get two right when it is all said and done!

We are only about two hours away though. I cannot wait. SKOL!

Eh. Six actually correct. About four or five one spot off. Three positions right but the wrong player. I could have done better. Until next year I suppose.

Better than mine, I got one exactly right pick, Winston 1
Mariota did go 2, but not to who I said.
I got Gordon to the Chargers, wrong spot though. Then I had a few where the player went close to the spot but not the team. In other words mine was a smoking crater.
