Garnett agreed to drop his no-trade clause and accept a trade from the Brooklyn Nets to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Thaddeus Young, his agent confirmed Thursday on Twitter.

It has been fun to see KG play these last few games. I wish I had never worn out my old KG jersey. I doubt he stays past this season as an active player however. He will transition to an office role and possibly have a stake in ownership.
