Big Ten! Ohio State couldn't get any respect at the end of the regular season, but luckily the bowl selection committee got it right - now if only they had replaced FSU with TCU lol.

I fully understand that couldn't have happened, given FSU was undefeated.

Thought it would be a good game but OSU was clearly the better team. Feel bad for Mariota, he's a good kid but the better team won tonight rather decisively.

Don't hate on my Buckeyes. Some of the best Vikings went to Ohio State.

Congratulations, Steve!

If they could have avoided a few careless mistakes, I think the final score would have been even more lopsided. Nevertheless, it was a heck of a performance. Others may have a different take but to me, that was a classic example of a game won at the line of scrimmage. I thought Ohio State outplayed Oregon at the point of attack, especially on offense. The Buckeyes o-line just took over that game (and Zeke was incredible). It was impressive!

As you said, that couldn't have happened since FSU was undefeated but it would have been interesting and it might have changed things considerably.

Despite the unfortunate exclusion of a team that good, I have to say I think this new format was very successful. Under the old format, the National Championship probably would have come down to Alabama and FSu, both of whom were eliminated in these playoffs.

Urban Meyer is already one the best college football coaches ever. What he's accomplished in his career is freaking incredible.
