In the 5 or so A&M games I saw this season, he primarily WAS a pocket passer. Even his season stats reflect that he did a lot less running. It is true, though, that the threat of him running tends to create some chaos in the D. His best virtue, IMO, is his ability to keep his eyes up field and throw to the open guy when a play breaks down. He IS a huge risk taker, and that may be problematic in the NFL.

I disagree, making Manziel into something he's not would be a mistake. If you take him, you have to believe in his ability and instinct and work the offense around that. He's not one of those players you can sculpt and mould into a traditional nfl QB, his natural ability will be his biggest asset or liability. No way around it.
