I'd only play Avery if Collie sits again. Check his status prior to the game.Hunter Morrow wrote:Start Donnie Avery or Dennis Pitta?

Re: 2012 General FF thread
I could see it being closer in PPR. But I'd still go Lloyd. Better talent, QB, on passing offense and better chance for a score. Also more target threat with Hernandez out.NextQuestion wrote:Dare I start Crabtree vs MN over Lloyd vs BAL?

That's how I feel and it's not PPR. It's a WR3 anyways as I can see Harvin and Calvin having good days for me.
Pull yr 84 jerseys out.

Um. Yes. With Lloyd as your WR3 you're set at WR.NextQuestion wrote:That's how I feel and it's not PPR. It's a WR3 anyways as I can see Harvin and Calvin having good days for me.

Re: 2012 General FF thread
#### a duck, Harvin and Johnson as your WE. Here I am excited to be starting Martellus Bennett and having a Donnie Avery/Dennis Pitta Free Agent Discussion.
Says Collie will probable for the Jags. I'll keep my eye on the situation.
Pitta gets thrown to so SO MUCH so I am very tempted to start him. I think I could pretty safely get 12 points from him whereas Avery has me a bit concerned.
Is Avery the real deal?

Yikes, that was way too close. Thank you for dropping that long open pass and not scoring a TD on that last drive Dez Bryant. Won by 2.

Re: 2012 General FF thread
Was in a situation with the New York Giants D.
The league voted to make "DST matter" so the scoring is...
10 for a shut out, sliding down by 2 until you get 0 points for 28 or more, -2 points for 40 or more allowed
5 for 0-125 yards, going down by 1 until you have 0 points for 226 yards allowed or more.
2 for every sack instead of 1
2 for every fumble
2 for every punt, kick, field goal and extra point blocked
2 for every interception
6 for touchdowns
This is a totally nuts way to do this scoring. Right now the very best players and highest scoring players are DSTs and then QBs. Every single week sees multiple DSTs scoring 30 or more points.
I was really freaked out because I was up by 14 but my opponent was starting the Giants DST against a turnover machine quarterback who also likes to get sacked all the time. Ultimately won by 6.

Douuuuuuuug Martin!
Seriously. I went from losing a game I should've won convincingly by 10 to now up 166:92 with only Pierre Thomas for him left. Thanks Doug. Nice of you to show up! Now KEEP it up.

I'm trying to decide between Leshoure vs MIN this week or Turner vs NO. Who would you go with?

Re: 2012 General FF thread
That's a tough one. Both are having other runners eat into their snaps and both play on a pass-first team. I'm leaning Turner, for no other reason than it has the potential to be a shootout in a better matchup. Plus, he's the guy they call on if there's any kind of lead. It seems as though the Lions prefer Bell in a similar situation. Most of the rankings I've seen lean Turner too, though it's close.Crax wrote:I'm trying to decide between Leshoure vs MIN this week or Turner vs NO. Who would you go with?
I'm debating Newton vs. Luck this week. Thoughts?

Re: 2012 General FF thread
I'd probably go Luck in that one. They lost to Jacksonville earlier this year, but have been playing better and have the momentum and team spirit stuff going on right now.
