Well as you old timers know I have been going to school online and working and
raising two kids the last few years.. I sent out 15 resumes right before Christmas;
I figured school was on break, and I had some time to answer a few calls and emails.

I started dealing with a few and had several interviews with one company over the phone
and network conferences.. I had a interview on Tuesday last week with two vice presidents
of the company and a regional manager I will work under.

They offered me an executive position with the company on Friday. Its managing a sales
force of a few people and working to 15-25; by the time I get comfortable and prove myself.

Its really good money (anything medical usually is)

I have not even finished school, and i have the kind of job i have trained for the last
few years.

That's awesome. Congrats!!! Makes all that work worth it. What are you doing to celebrate?

take a vacation I think.. to celebrate..

I'm relocating down to LA next month to live with my girlfriend(we have been going out for a over a year)

I fly southwest a lot on long weekends and vacations..


I am going to live about 20 minutes from Malibu California

Great job man, congratulations. Just don't spend too much money though. Since I've gotten my first career job, I've been spending too much money at [Mod Edit].

It's interesting having a 40 hour a week job. I just go to work, go home, and blaze sometimes, then knock out. I still have a semester of school left too. Good luck man and congrats.

Yeah the link was rather... interesting. I didn't know they had a database for that sort of stuff but we try to keep it family friendly around here

I didn't break the rule I just thought the "keep-glg-out-of-the-doghouse-if-the-wife-finds-out" rule takes precedent.

I think I should get to see it as it is my thread and I have no wife ...
