Men's Frozen Four

Post by DeeEss57 » Mon Mar 28, 2011 12:51 pm

The four teams to make it are North Dakota, Notre Dame, Michigan and....

our very own UMD Bulldogs!

The Dogs knocked off the number one team in the nation (Yale) to earn their way to the X in St Paul. The Dogs (24-10-6) play Notre Dame (25-13-5) at 4 pm Thursday April 7th, while North Dakota (32-8-3) and Michigan (28-10-4) face off at 7:30 that night. The Championship game is at 6 pm on Saturday April 9th. The games will be carried on ESPN 2 and ESPN.

Bulldogs win the National Championship for the first time in their history!!

And they are only the second team in NCAA history to win football and hockey championships in the same year!

That was a good hockey game IMO, a championship game that lived up to the stage. Very entertaining.
