It's been a long off season, but I'm finally back in the Land of the Viking again. Looking forward to 6 month of nothing but football and visiting my favortie place on earth.

Thought with the bridge collapse it would be an effort to get to Washington Ave. but almost all the exits to the U of M were open that we usually use. Had to make one detour down by the Dome. Other than that we zipped right through. But talk about road construction. From about Roseville on up to here there is some major road work going on.

I did get a kick out of the guys on the radio talking about the heat here. I found it almost too cool. For the last week in Kansas it has been over 100 degrees with heat indexes of over 110 at times. Today's weather will be great for hanging out at the Stadium.

Great to be back again.

Have fun Mike. Wish I was there with you. Also wish they had the game on TV tonight instead of Buffalo and the Saints.

Should be a nice relaxing day hitting all the bars along Washington Ave.
