No car, no grill, no clue

Just moved here from Canada. The girlfriend and I got tickets to our first NFL game (Panthers Nov 30) and heard that half the fun of going to a game is tailgating. Only problem is we don't have a vehicle, or grill, or any idea how to tailgate. Except purple. We have purple.
Do vendors set up in the lots for people who don't want to lug a propane tank over on the light rail? Can we buy some overpriced sausages or something? We should still bring our own beer right?
