 Vikings @ Packers 2010
Hey Guys,
Long time reader, first time poster (always wanted to say that).
I've been a Vikings fans for the past 10 years or so now, and although Im a Kiwi (New Zealander for those unaware of the term), Im currently based in London. This year Im fortunate enough to be travelling to the USA in October and am desperate to see a Vikes game. It just so happens that the weekend I had set aside to do this is the weekend of the 24th of Oct, and I couldn't have asked for a better match-up. At the same time, being that its at the Packers on SNF I realise that it could be quite difficult to get a ticket, so Im in need of a little advice.
Where is the best place for me to pick up a single ticket and what time of year is the best to find one? What kind of price should I expect to be paying for one? Also, being based in London Im very aware of how violent opposing soccer fans get at games, and while I dont expect Football fans would be anywhere near as bad, are there any areas of Lambeau that I (as a Viking jersey wearing fan) should avoid?
I'd appreciate any advice you guys could give me.
Cheers, Buck

 Re: Vikings @ Packers 2010
Hello,
I bought a VIP tent ticket last year for the pounding we gave the packers at the Metrodome. I am not sure if you can get these from the packers or not? it was 400 dollars and I sat almost in the third row right behind Syd Davey the guy with the huge arms they show on TV all the time. The meal was in a big circus tent and they had all kinds of ex-players walking around in there and greeting fans. The food was very good and so were the adult beverages.
Jarad Allen came out after the half time (I was wearing his jersey) and he was pretty friendly to the fans while he stretched out. I yelled a comment to him about how he was Killing Rodgers and he smiled and waved.
My first NFL game was Peterson's 296 game. Awesome game the stadium was electric that day. I honestly was so overwhelmed with energy I didn't even realize Peterson had so many yards until they flashed 250 on the big screen. I would recommend seeing your first game at the Vikings stadium if you can. I have seen 4 games now and they only lost to the Colts in the home opener in 2008. Figures I took the wife to that game too.
